Here is a thought go to the dealer you are going to buy the truck from .Tell them you are going thru with the Maverick transaction no matter what! EXPLAIN you want an Escape hybrid .he might just flip you a 2 or 3 k off the price of the Escape .By the time you pay taxes ,fees etc you wont make more than 3k IMHO. And this way it is hassle free

All valid things to consider. I can get a refund on the Sales tax when I purchase the Escape and pay the tax on it. Financing for a buyer on a used vehicle is something they will have to consider. I know I should be able to get more for it than I paid, just don't know what to expect. Based on other threads, Carvana may be my way to go. Will call Carvana once I get it. Thanks

Selling to a wholesaler like Carvana gives away your equity for free. They are just going to flip it for few thousand more. That is like selling your house at a big discount.

Sell PP on Autotrader and CraigsList its easy, people do that all the time.

I am not a dealer, do not work at a dealer or have any dealership affiliation at all. I ordered a Maverick on July 23, 2022
I have a HYBRID XL built (on 02/26) and shipped (02/28) with an expected arrival date of 03/20 to 03/26. I have decided to sell it after I title it (have to and Missouri DNR says may take a week to get title back in my name) but won't drive it other than the 8 miles to home from the dealer.

The Maverick HYBRID XL is Velocity Blue, options of: Co-Pilot360, Trailer Hitch Receiver and Factory Spray in Bed Liner.

How much do you think I should ask and hope to get for it.

Well after getting the Hybrid Maverick in March of 2022 I totally changed my mind. The Maverick rides much better (longer wheelbase) than our 2016 Escape Titanium. Now after having the Maverick for just shy of a year and a half I am still so happy with it. In Fact, I ordered a 2023 Maverick XL Hybrid that has not been built yet so I've been rolled-over into a 2024. When the 2024 comes in I'll sell the 2022. I've averaged 46+mpg for the 10K miles I have on it. Not unhappy with any part of it. (I did add the cruise control switches and programmed so the 2022 XL has cruise, the 2024 has cruise as standard equipment)

A 2024 Hybrid rollover from a 2023 order is to get a $2500 FoMoCo discount. With that I'll be more than happy to sell my 2022 XL Hybrid (now with 10,7xx miles and with the factory cruise control switches, FoMoCo mud flaps and the power tail gate lock (all that I installed) for what the 2024 is going to cost me (sticker with no mark up).

Don't try Vroom today... They are beyond stupid, and likely mixing up my Maverick with my C-Max (Carvana says $16635 for it), but they did list my Maverick's VIN correctly.
