Everything you said is true. Ford Rep (yesterday) and Dealer (today) contradict one another. Unfortunately I'm at the mercy of not one but both of them.
I'd be more inclined to believe Ford. Sadly, many salespersons at Ford Dealerships are utterly clueless, and consistently provide erroneous information!

***Ford Chat Responses May Not Be Accurate!!***

I call Ford about once every other week. Today I tried the online chat function. After giving them all my info, they wrote back confirming that my order code was delivered to my local dealership on March 22nd at 1:55. I was shocked. I immediately called me dealer, was routed straight to the manager, he said no Mavericks came in this week and mine wasn't on an inbound truck scheduled to arrive anytime soon, and confirmed again that I was getting rolled over to a 2023. I go back to being pissed off. So I call Ford Customer service, and they confirmed my order is still in the system awaiting production and doesnt have a VIN yet. The lady said a lot of people that ordered in June and July have been calling in lately. Like, why are June and July orderers keep getting fucked over and scheduled less?
Anyway, the lady never even offered the $100 gift card thing either. Didn't think I would have to ask. Guess I will when I call again in 2 weeks.

That's not really how the allocation system works. Some regions might be currently getting priority over your dealer like the West (California) and the Southern (Florida) but Ford cut off orders so they could complete what they had received. With an August order I find it hard to believe they're not going to fulfill your order. I think your dealer is blowing smoke where the sun don't shine or there's much much more to this story. Sorry but not buying the fact that Ford isn't going to fulfill an August Hybrid order............
June 10th order, one of the first in the country. Not August. Read reply about an "update" I just got 5 minutes right above this.

I agree. My truck was ordered on 8/27, and is scheduled to be built the week of 4/11. Important for folks to monitor emails from Ford about what phase their Mavericks are in.

I cannot believe how clueless many Ford Dealership Salespersons are about the retail process. Ford makes great products, but if dealerships are clueless, this can really hurt the brand.

I work at Ford and have access to vehicle visibility, though I have nothing to do with ordering, scheduling or allocation. Your order shows as "Unscheduled - Clean". This dealer has 11 unscheduled Maverick orders ahead of you, that have not been scheduled yet. I'm not sure how they would know that yours will be pushed to 2023MY, as I have seen no communications. I would hang in there. I'll be waiting 10 months from order to delivery, expecting delivery first week of April.

Thanks! Good to know! All I can do is wait at this point and hope they're wrong.

I think your signature may jinx your order. LOL

Ha! I hope not. Luckily I don't believe in the jinx. I think I will change it though...

Because dealerships ran out of allocations.
I'd like to ask the group at large if your dealer has told you:
  • that they already know how many allocations they will get for the rest of the year?
  • that they already ran out of their full year's allocations and won't get any more?
Why am I asking? Mainly because @Mite-o-Dan's dealer told him in January that he (the dealer) had zero hybrid allocations for the rest of the year. While my own communications with three different dealers describe a system where dealers get new allocations almost every month but don't know in advance what they will get.

I'm wondering if there are two different allocation systems or if there is just some confusion here.

Or if it's just another case of a dealership employee talking out of their A$$

My order is from Mid-October for a Hybrid Hot Pepper Red XLT with the only add-on being a Trailer-Hitch Connector. The Ford Rep claims my order is: "Unscheduled - Balance Out". "This means the order will not be produced because the model year has balanced out." I just contacted my sales guy at the dealership by email. No response yet.

Thoughts? Has this happened to anyone else?

What did your dealer say, I personally don't think any of these chat people have a clue whats going on

Ok... I'll take that as a vote for "there's just some confusion here". :sneaky:
