My wife when asked what the Maverick looks like describes it as a "girl truck." I'm just curious how many women we have here.

Not a woman, but I don't think vehicles inherently have gender-based designs, but yes, certain vehicles tend to attract more of one gender than the other. I think purpose of vehicle has more to do with it.

I think Maverick will be neutral in its appeal, personally. YMMV.

It's less aggressive than the Tonka truck looking 1/2 tons and above so I can see why someone would think that

I think it's a pretty handsome truck, especially from the rear 3/4 angle. The front I'm torn on, I think it could be better but overall I like it. Neutral and not aggressive, compact instead of oversized

My GF just prefers trucks over cars. I think its because she is only 5'1" and she just wants to feel bigger and taller :) lol She really doesn't even argue when I tell her that.
I think vehicles in general are kind of gender neutral. They can be customized to lean one way or the other, but don't come from the factory that way.
Every time we see a bad @$$ sports car though, my GF always tells me... eh... that's too much of a guy car, and that she'd rather have a truck. Id rather have both :) lol

Remember the Ford Probe? That was intended to be marketed towards women. Probably should have done some marketing surveys on the name.

I love the front grill. It has a retro feel to me. Whether intentional or not, I think it gives a nod to the original Maverick. But, that's just me.

Not seeing feminine here but to be honest I don't really care. It's exactly what I wanted to fit my needs.

Yes. :ROFLMAO: And that was the 1st American car whose lead designer was a woman. Mimi what's her name Vander-something. Men had led the design of all cars until the 90's. Crazy to think that.

I don't care who drives a Mav. But I don't like the look of the Santa Cruz -- whoever drives it.

Well, you know, we're just not big enough or smart enough to drive a real truck. We just leave that for the menfolks who lift their trucks with their bare hands. /s

Are we allowed to ask that anymore? I mean we are going to have to switch to a non Latin alphabet soon to keep up with the pronouns.

at least it did not come with an Area 51 paint package.

I personally loved the probe, not as much as my cougar, but close 3rd
