Have decided I want a bed cover (hard) but have no idea what is best and easiest to maneuver. Husband has some mobility issues and I'm "older" too!

I'll be installing the Roll n Lock and putting it up on my YouTube channel.

I've had Retrax before so I'm excited to try this one out

I have the Ford REV roll up ... I like it but it can take a little force to lock it into place. With mobility concerns, I would probably look at a folding top. Either way, I do like having a tonnaeu cover.

There really all easy to handle. You have to ask a few questions.

1. do you want water tight seal?
2. What is your budget?
3. How much anti theft protection do you need? Will you lock valuables in the truck bed?
4. Will it be facing a lot of snow or HOT 🥵 SUN?
5. Do you need to mount a rack to the truck? Some covers don’t allow racks to be added.

My wife and I settled on a trifold aluminum cover (brand undecided). We will have 🤿 scuba gear and pricey tools in the bed all the time. We also wanted sun protection and my budget is 1,000. It’s also easy to open and close. And you can close it with the tailgate up or down. Some Of the covers have to be shut before Closing the tailgate.

this one looks good from rough country with a limited lifetime warranty.

I have the Ford hard rollup on my truck. It looks nice but it leaked when i got it. I bought extra moulding and now it is probably 90 to 95 percent waterproof. For $1200.00 it should not leak.
So it leaked around the bed edge(s) but otherwise it’s good?

I have the same exact cover. Ford still hasn't provided me with any sheet metal to go under it yet.

My question is about the seal to the back of cab, did you add any sealant or does the rubber seal work ok on it's own and have you run it through a high pressure car wash?

I made sure to get the side rails all the way to the front. and pushed the cover forward as far as it would go, so far been thru 5-6 car wash's with no leak's, no sealant needed

This looks good, especially for the cost. I've been looking at the BakFlip, but it's several hundred dollars more expensive. The Ford one, which I believe is a rebranded BakFlip, is even more spendy.

The one I linked seems like the best value. Reviews on the brand are great. I can’t recommend it myself as I have not bought it yet, but I’m probably going to. I also considered the bak4s, but it doesn’t offer any more for the extra cost.

I was looking into the rough country bed cover. It only folds twice, so the three pieces take up space in truck bed stacked. It is no longer an option for me.
