It's a little strange thats for sure. My only guess is they want a gender natural color maybe. Although I would argue all colors are gender neutral society just likes to gender colors for some reason.I don’t know what makes orange the new “ rugged“ color of choice in the automotive world? It seems every manufacturer is using orange accents on their so called “off road” model. I think Subaru was the first.
I'm pretty sure rugged vehicles have been orange for a long, long time...I don’t know what makes orange the new “ rugged“ color of choice in the automotive world? It seems every manufacturer is using orange accents on their so called “off road” model. I think Subaru was the first.
Hahah very fair point there.I'm pretty sure rugged vehicles have been orange for a long, long time...

Winter driving isn’t too bad as most roads are plowed/salted. Drove back from Salida this past weekend when there were snowy/icy roads Sunday and it did well with the stock all-season Pirelli tires on the FX4 package.I use to live in Westminster now in Wheat Ridge. How has winter driving been out here? Any chance you've dorve up/down a mountain pass in snow if so how did it do? Do you have the stock all season tires or upgraded to winter ones?
What about purple duct tape?I didn't realize the console liners pop out good to know! I was considering the sharpie route lol. Or even something like puffy paint. It's really not a big deal just something I was curious about. I like to joke that us purple people its not just a favorite color its a lifestyle ha. Try to make everything I can purple, even painted my mustang in highschool purple. So if I could make my accents purple to would be great.
Wholeheartedly agree! Pictures and video just don't do the XLT interior justice. IMO you just need to see it in person before you can make a judgment.Just my observation/opinion but the orange accents aren’t as orange as they look in the pictures. I thought I was going to HATE them but I’m pleasantly surprised by how much I actually like them.
I can’t find the posts but the orange on the door pulls do not come off and are integrated into the entire door panel. The rainbow and purple ones I'm obsessed! Adding to my Amazon wish list to order soon! These are great especially if I can swap the liner and door handle for the XL ones. Then just be all black stuff and fun colored vents. Nice bonus there scented
Can you get detailed measurements for that thing and post it in the FITS subforum? I smell another opportunity to make even more accessories.See what might be the Ford part number for the black LT tray in the photo.

Happy to hear it does well. I will have the FX4 set up as well so working with same tires. My main concern is winter driving on 70 to go riding. Those roads get nuts in the winter especially because I leave around 4:30am and often aren't plowed as much as I would like. Its really just past the tunnel going to copper and going up the pass to winter park I'm worried about. My escape does just fine on these now so not sure why I got myself worked up about if the truck can handle it well too.Winter driving isn’t too bad as most roads are plowed/salted.
