Still awaiting my order but been buying my add ons while I wait. One thing I was wondering was is there any way to cover or replace the orange accents? I already plan to get seat covers with my ford pass rewards so covers the seat stitching. What about the other orange parts? Nothing wrong with orange just not my color. Would love to replace with maybe a dark purple or even black. Any suggestions or people out there that have modified their accents?

Dunno if it's possible, but it sounds like another 3D printing project for the FITS customization subforum.

That's a great suggestion! New to this forum so learning all the threads still. Will have to post to there if I don't come up with a solution by the time it gets here!

Seems like the door handles would be easy to pop off and replace with ones from the XL trim. The center console liners can just come out altogether, and that just leaves you with the air vents. Perhaps a sharpie?

I didn't realize the console liners pop out good to know! I was considering the sharpie route lol. Or even something like puffy paint. It's really not a big deal just something I was curious about. I like to joke that us purple people its not just a favorite color its a lifestyle ha. Try to make everything I can purple, even painted my mustang in highschool purple. So if I could make my accents purple to would be great.

See, I like the orange but I'm not sure it's enough for me to get an XLT instead of an XL. Be nice to be able to swap out the colors as desired.

If you are anywhere near the Denver area and we're both still looking to swap colors once my truck is here would be happy to. Sounds like the door handles and inserts should be an easy swap. Have to wait and see once I get the truck. Would love to somehow customize to purple but if that doesn't seem to be an option be happy with black XL ones!

When it comes to the vents, there's stuff like this. Although I cannot speak to how durable they are.

The rainbow and purple ones I'm obsessed! Adding to my Amazon wish list to order soon! These are great especially if I can swap the liner and door handle for the XL ones. Then just be all black stuff and fun colored vents. Nice bonus there scented

You can remove those center inserts and maybe plasti-dip or spray paint them purple to your liking.
I live in Westminster and work up in Boulder, so if you want to check out an XLT, let me know. Just got mine last month!

See what might be the Ford part number for the black LT tray in the photo.

I don’t know what makes orange the new “ rugged“ color of choice in the automotive world? It seems every manufacturer is using orange accents on their so called “off road” model. I think Subaru was the first.

I use to live in Westminster now in Wheat Ridge. How has winter driving been out here? Any chance you've dorve up/down a mountain pass in snow if so how did it do? Do you have the stock all season tires or upgraded to winter ones?
