So those that took advantage of the deals such as those from Granger and Chapman, it's just whatever they offered plus whatever factory rebates or private cash offers you have correct?

I contacted my local dealer to get details and with customer orders they don't have any required add-ons or ADM.

Obviously the Granger and Chapman deals are great, but also require me to pay for travel/lodging/food.

Good news for me is because of my father-in-law I qualify for D Plan pricing. I'm not sure what the hold back and advertising fee are on the Maverick, but I would assume once I also factor in the expenses of traveling I'm probably very close to the deals.

Of course this also assumes they continue offering deals once the order banks open back up. If not then I'm definitely ahead!

Am I thinking correct on this, or am I missing something?

I wouldn't bother with those crazy deals. Granger probably isn't going to fulfill all of their MY22 orders and a friend who ordered the same time as me from Chapman for almost the same exact build minus a couple of things still hasn't received a production date despite me receiving one 2 weeks after placing my order. Given my x-plan pricing, with Chapman he would save about $1,000 on his Maverick compared to mine but I doubt he's even going to see his for the 2022 model year.

I think those prices are gimmicky, I'm seeing Granger orders for ecoboost Mavericks from November and December which still haven't received a production date. If you actually want to receive a Maverick I probably wouldn't order from either of them considering the fact that they're most likely going to roll orders over into MY23 production so they'll be ahead of you anyway with a fresh 2023 order when the banks open in August.

Too many orders with either Granger or Long McArthur were the reason I stayed locally last August and ordered my Maverick XLT Hybrid from AutoNation Ford Frisco Tx on 8/23. I was scheduled on 9/16 for production.

For me it wasn't worth the potential savings of maybe a $1000 and have the risk a not being scheduled for a very long time.

Fast forward to today and I have had my Maverick XLT Hybrid for almost three months and enjoying it immensely whereas those who ordered Hybrids in August from either Granger or Long McArthur probably won't get theirs until very late 2022 or as you state get pushed to a MY23 build.

A plan on about a 30k maverick is about 1500 off. D plan is about 1400 then, so about half of the discount that granger advertised.
In a couple years, you will be able to negotiate a better price without any plan pricing easily.

Even with my more limited understanding of dealer allocation at the time it seemed pretty obvious to me. My friend was really throwing it in my face about his agreed upon price through Chapman but that has stopped now that he's still waiting for a production date and mine should be produced in a couple of weeks. This maverick is for my side business and should allow me to grow and take on more work so to me, time is money.

Your limited understanding? Come on now haha. Don't be humble.

Well, you know snowcat, if I claimed any more knowledge I would just give some of the trolls here more basis for accusing me of working for either Ford or a dealership, neither of which are true.

How are you coming up with the $1500?

Granger is screwed.
There really was no real incentive to order from Long McArthur if you could get a MSRP deal locally.
Chapman saved me $2,700 on my build and I don’t need the truck. That was $2,700 before the first price hike. By the time I get the truck that savings could be well over $4,000, especially if it is pushed to MY23.

So for me this made sense. I did order an XL EB as well, from Long McArthur. I ordered it on 12/26 and it was scheduled for 3/7 right away and is currently in production.

Make sure you factor in plan savings on options too, there's a base savings and then you get additional savings on whatever options you choose. Someone specing their maverick out with a ton of options will save a more significant amount with one of the plans

Ok thanks. The other thing is I'm looking at a Hybrid. I know the Granger $3k was Ecoboosts only.

I didn't pay attention to what deals were Ecoboost vs Hybrid other than that one.

Long McArthur has scheduled half their hybrids. Last week orders from August and September were among them.

Today the car carrrier made two trips and delivered a total of 10 Mavericks to Salina, Kansas.

By this weekend 10 more orders will have saved up three more months of down payment money and take delivery of their vehicles.

@fordvideoguy, thank for supplying the morale boosting news during your YT live stream (E30) this evening.
