I had no luck there. A Lithia Auto dealer or franchise or what not. They had two black XLT on the lot when I called. But they are customer order vehicles. Make of that what you will when they say they have vehicles. I pressed the rep and he said they had vehicles available and I could order one. YMMV.Medford, Oregon based, has many Mavericks including ones that start at $22,000. Says they can deliver your truck.

I had hopes that this would be a good alternative if my order at the current dealership, Folsom Ford, and decides to markup $5000 they had mentioned after I placed the order with them and ran my credit card for $500 deposit. I get that the dealership wants to make a profit but I swear I will not go along with their shenanigans.I had no luck there. A Lithia Auto dealer or franchise or what not. That's BS on the Escape price increase or any Ford vehicle for that matter. There's a price protection if you placed the order before the price increases. There's a copy of the dealer memo on this forum specifically addressing the price protection for previous orders for all Ford Models. Do a quick search for "Price increases" on here and print it out for your records.Hey Jim, yes I’m planning to keep my order going and have the patience to wait it out, even if it’s next year when it actually arrives. I’m really in no hurry so that’s a good thing. Now what bothers me the most is the dealership that has my order. Let’s say I didn’t leave with a nice impression with warm and fuzzies from the Folsom Ford dealership. I didn’t like the fact that after they took my order and the deposit, then they casually mentioned that they will be marking my Maverick order up by at least $5000 more than MSRP.
Incidentally I placed an order for a Ford Escape PHEV in February with another dealership that claims they will not do any markups. This SUV will be for my wife since I will be getting the Maverick. Unfortunately since they are a small dealership, it appears they don’t really have the understanding when it comes to the MSRP being increased. Last week they sent me a new order form that includes the price increases and stated that it will be the new numbers they will be using unless there’s another price increase before the SUV arrives.
Ordered mine from Harrold Ford end of July. Build week is 3/7/22. By the time its delivered to the dealer, it will have been almost 8 months since scheduling started in mid-August. I don't have much hope for you, if I'm being honest. I would circle August 16th on the calendar because that's when they'll start taking orders on MY23 Mavericks.I have no illusions on getting my Maverick any time soon since it’s the hybrid XLT with the Luxury package and moonroof with a November 15, 2021 order date. Anyone care to guess how far into the year before it’s actually delivered?![]()
How far are you willing to travel is the questionOh man, that’s a heck of a long wait to get your maverick. I will definitely sad a calendar alarm for August 16 but I’m hoping mine will be built before then. It’s not the Ford products that are bothering me, it’s actually the dealerships.
I think I saw on a video recently where there was an 800 number to call to change dealerships. I hate to say it but I think it will be near impossible to find one in Northern California that is on the up and up
I had a mini war with the dealership when they suggested they might not honor msrp when my truck arrives. I'm prepping myself to go to war again if they try more funny business.Oh man, that’s a heck of a long wait to get your maverick.
