It’s all good. I’ll leave the marking up to the dealership. Funny enough they alto blue one is showing it’ll come in on 3/9 now too. Since both dealership are less than 20 miles from each other they might come in the same day. Leaning toward the alto blue because I like the tires that come on the fx4 and don’t think I’ll need co-pilot like I did when I first ordered. I just don’t want to finalize the deal anymore until I see the car. Ford’s burned us all enough already.

Sort of surprising to read all the comments to mark up and sell the second one and then read all the threads about how awful it is for dealers to add a markup🙁
I actually don't care if they mark up their own stock orders. If someone wants to pay more for whatever reason let them. Marking up customer orders I do not agree with.

I plan to get another in the next round and I will re-sell it and mark it up. I've had to let my husband have my car, since his died last summer, for weekdays. He is lucky it is a pandemic as I gave up my job so co-workers wouldn't lose hours but I planned to be working again by Jan 2022 and can't till this damn truck gets here. I've been paying my mortgage & other expenses from savings so I will be replenishing my savings w that 2023 Maverick profit. I think it is fair to get what I can for the 2023 as I'm going to be waiting an extra 6 months not able to work till the Mav we ordered gets here.

You are assuming that the car market will be the same then as it is today. It may be or it may not be. Eventually this whole thing is going to correct itself. Just be careful that is all I am saying.

After reading this it makes me wonder how many people order multiple vehicles and were able to get them before someone even gets one. Not knocking you or anyone that ordered multiples, just shows how screwed up the Ford ordering system is. Why isn’t it first come first served? Why are their dealer allocations? Just eliminate the dealership and order direct from Ford. People waiting 6-8 months still haven’t gotten a build date. People ordering in Dec and Jan already getting their trucks. I just don’t understand. I know you said you ordered in August so we are in the same boat. Mine was a Hybrid Lariat Lux Pkg with CP360 so probably the worst truck I could have ordered due to how many chips it needs. :)

Oh I got ya for sure. The system is super screwy and I wish I knew what options to get my truck quicker when I ordered. I should say that one of the trucks the dealer ordered, and I found out about it and started the loan paperwork. Because of the advice of this forum I never let my august order go, and it turns out it might get here faster. If they both get here at the same time (which is possible) I’ll probably take the dealers car.

Apparently a lot of people ordered multiple Mavericks from different dealers which is how I was able to obtain a hybrid rather than the Eco boost I ordered. This is also probably the reason we’re going to see more inventory on the dealer lots in the next couple months.

Glad you were able to find one in the wild. I have been looking but dealers around here are asking 5-10k above MSRP. I just can't justify paying the same price for an Eco-Boost XL that I will pay for the Hybrid Lariat Lux truck I ordered.

Call the dealers around you and get on the waitlist for one that does not get purchased by the customer. If you can find one before it gets delivered that the customer cancelled make sure you put a small deposit on it so your name is on it and they can’t mark it up. They can only mark it up once it becomes inventory. If they do mark it up while in transit file a complaint with Ford!

I have an order from two different dealers, one local, the other is Chapman with the 3% below invoice. I also am on about ten lists so if one comes available sooner, I will give up both of them.

I see you are in Florida so I hope you’re with two of the dealers that is transparent rather than unscrupulous and charging an ADM! Be sure to ask because Gary Yeoman’s didn’t offer that info until close to the end☹

Yea I don’t think it’s a moral question in terms of the dealer. I just simply wanted my truck as soon as possible and took the dealers word it would be here this weekend and ford tracker still says in production. I was told by the dealer it’s already built and awaiting shipment. The only reason I’m in my predicament is because I never dropped my original order from another dealer. Which worked out for me because it turns my original order is further along. Plus I know that as soon as I drop either order it’ll be sold in a day or two. Although you are right I don’t want to string anyone along.

Mullinax is the local one. No ADM or dealer fees

Take which ever one you can get with NO ADM.
