Help I think

Don't know where to post this??? Last 2 days all I'm getting are McAfee pop ups??? I have had this Mac for several years and have NEVER gotten these popups. This is only website I'm getting these pop ups. Is this a Maverick issue or did someone take issue with a post of mine an target me??

This stuff is above my pay grade.

I've tried all the apple suggestios just keep on keeping.

I have had this same exact problem when I use my iPad. If i use my phone then everything works just fine. I never had any trouble until a couple days ago. Only happens on this site

I do get them here once in awhile.....
I figure the site gets revenue for it? If I'm wrong, please correct me.

I‘m on an iPad and don’t see any pop ups. I have ads flashing to the right of the thread, and show up randomly within some posts, but no pop ups.

Mine is the same as yours on my iPad. No popups just ads in some posts.

Yeah i just got adds. I wont mess with apple though, doesnt let you get ahead of that stuff any. I will say the add do a change and are occasionally sensitive to things I say or my wife is looking at on her iphone while we are using our satellite internet.

Have you tried another browser?

I have used both Chrome (with ad blocking) and Brave Browsers and have no issues with pop-ups or unwanted ad's.

In all the years I have had this laptop this is the first and only website this has happened. About every minute. I can't even read a post.

Right now I'm tethered to my phone. No problems. It's why I think some of us are being messed with by some kind of ass hat.

First thing I would do is clear my cookies and history and then reboot.

Yeah there’s something going on with the site for the last day or so, I can’t even get on with anything but my phone. All the pages are being redirected to ad pages and such. I thought it was just on my end but it sounds like it’s more than that.

We're working on this issue. The issue seems to only be with Edge desktop browser, so if you're using that, just switch to another browser for now.
