Mine (only got one) was in the storage bin under the rear seats as well, however I am 99% certain that these ford speaker adapters are the exact same plug as the pigtails. I bought a pair for my speaker swap and noticed the similarity to the pigtail, compared side by side and the connector seems identical.
You're the man if those work! Have you given it a try yet? Anyone else?
