My local dealer said my order would be a ‘23, and that there would be about $700 more for it, when I ordered on the 27th. Also, they cannot adjust packages after the order is made.

Mine must be the only honest one. Told me better than 50/50 my Lariat order on 1/14 would be pushed to MY23 and need to be reordered and no guarantee of price protection. At best, it would be a very late 22 and I might see it in October, September at the earliest.

One dealer told me that a 9k markup was a "small adjustment" Another one said nicely that I was wasting my time looking for a Maverick and should just wait for my order. Jokes on him, not even a day later I found the Maverick I currently have sitting in my driveway.

That's why, 3 months ago, I ordered from another dealer that said they had no clue when the truck would get here. Still unscheduled.

Wow! Where to begin? Well……these are actually from a few dealers. Both the one I bought the “temporary” hybrid from as well as the ones I’m waiting on to be built one of these years.

*At one point in very early November, the manager said they had already delivered their first retail hybrid. They were clueless about OKTB. They seemed to be amazed with how much more I knew than they did!!
* About that same time they said it had been built and was on its way (November). It arrived Jan 6 after the OKTB date passed so it could ship.
* When the vehicle arrived they said I “have to use their financing or I cannot buy the truck”. FORD REP PLEASE READ THIS. I used theirs, then switched it the following week. F them!
* They said that the priority code is meaningless and everyone gets a 19. Can’t be changed.
* They outright refused to show me the weekly status update they get from Ford.

These were the highlights so far. Can’t wait for my next chance. I get goosebumps all over just anticipating it!!
