What tonneau cover did you get? The reason I ask is the first edition package says soft roll up. Tim Bartz did a video on FE Maverick and it had a trifold cover. Just curious I have the exact FE 22 Maverick on order. Build week 3/14. Love the pictures. Thank you for sharing your story.

You’re welcome! I have the soft tri-fold which scared me when I drove 75 mph and thought it was going to be ripped off. It turned out it had not been securely fastened behind the cab! Looking forward to seeing your pictures!

Since I'm not really watching the Olympics, I thought I read this entire thread! I happy a fellow MTC member was abled to pulled the CarFax on the VIN! This really makes that dealership look pretty stupid! I say talk to them if they call you again. Love to hear their side of the story on how they repaired the so called damage Maverick....I'll bet you they never send out another VIN again : )

Also, nice looking Maverick....I probably won't get my hybrid until May.

ANYWAYS- if you don't mimed. when did the order got place? I would like to know, so i could see on the time frame from the order received until the time the car got to the dealer.

Well, it was due to arrive February 7th - 13th (heh) but it's on chip hold 'til May 8th-14th. Just having to wait 11 months in all. So, it's very good to hear it will be worth the wait!

Still not inclined to talk with them and they stopped calling. They still have not replied to my Google review Sorry about your delay however you should find your XLT worth the wait!

First of all...I'm so sorry. Second....get pics from the dealer including the correct vin. The fact he didn't send pics first thing is already a huge red flag for me.

A wild guess is the dealer sold your truck for a premium of $5.000 (or more) and screwed you. Dealers will be dealers. If you are as pissed of as I would be dig into this further.

If and when I receive confirmation my truck is in transit, and because my dealer is 10 minutes away, I'll attempt to be at the dealership before the Maverick arrives to make sure there's no funny business

Your right there, How do you know they didn't sell it to someone in the Family or some one gave them another grand more then you paid to get it Never know this guy was 8 hr away

I don’t think there is anything else to dig into since the truck was sold to someone else and they are now reaping what they sow with all the negative online reviews and likes!
