This order is barely 45 days old. I hope the 7-8 month orders go first. No offense intended i hope everyone gets scheduled, built, shipped and delivered as soon as possible.
if my understanding is correct there is a dealership in the family. He has been doing YouTube videos on Ford products for a couple of years. You can see in his videos he has access to many Ford dealership internal documents. He is well respected for his knowledge by Tim Bartz and was the one that corrected Tim when he misread the price increase a few months back. He has 6.53K subscribers to his YouTube channel.
Nope XLT AWD. We get crazy shit like this in west Texas almost every winter. 6" of hard packed snow and ice on our roads. I kinda need the AWD. It starts out as rain, then freezing rain, then slushy shit, then snow. Then it all gets hard packed as everybody drives on it. We have sand trucks, and no snow plows. It's a mess for days afterwards.

I have seen orders issued Vins 2 days after being ordered, and up to 7 months after being ordered. There is honestly no rhyme or reason it seems
The dealer rep said Ford picks the orders for build each week, the Ford customer service rep says the dealer picks the orders to be built each week. Poth pointing the fingers. All I know for certain is Granger had 372 maverick orders placed between dec 24th and jan 27th. They are allotted 10 orders per week. This will take till october to fill all of these if my math is right.
The allotment per dealer is determined by region on a monthly basis - what has been is not guaranteed going forward. Granger does not pick what is to be built - that is done at the factory based on constraints and other factors. Granger can only set priority within their orders and region or factory may or may not follow it. Yes it is a system without exacting guidelines, you may not have taken into account unfilled orders prior to Dec 24th.
Well I'm hoping the factory looks into the fact that compared to others I have a fairly simple build without a lot of add ons. cactus grey XLT AWD , 2K tow trailer hitch , full size spare tire, in cab power inverter. Granger stated they make all of them priority 19

I need the AWD in winter. If it was something offered on the hybrid, I would have went that direction.
