I agree. But none of us has any control over it. If Ford builds my truck before those who ordered months before me, I am still going to buy it.
Then you're the guy that won't mind if I walk in to a store behind you and get the last rolls of TP in the state? Thanks!

Tim, would there be any significant benefit to removing the 360 package from a build? Would it speed up things at all? That is just about the only option i have on my XLT besides the hitch.

The CP 360 is real close to be balanced. I think I saw where they expected about 50% of orders with it and they had about 58% with CP 360 actually. It would probably help you get scheduled quicker. But if enough people take it off it could help your order without taking it off.

Interesting. I have the full-sized spare on my order as well. I could certainly live without it, though I just ordered last week so probably not in line to get scheduled in the near term. I may just sit on things are they are for a bit and see where things stand.
same here, ordered last day available so waiting is part of the game, might as well get the tire too lol

Misplaced my jargon to English dictionary. Could you explain what that means for those not in the biz, please?

Orders beyond X percentage will be further pushed back until a time yet to be determined? Will not make the cut and be removed from consideration for scheduling altogether? Priority of installation shifted to fleet orders?

Is it mistaken to presume that (at least in theory) stock orders still possible that dealers will prefer a majority of those to include Co-pilot 360?

Thank you.

He's saying that 50% is so close to 58%, that the amount ordered vs. the amount they will have parts for is nearly balanced. Only 8% over ordered on CP360.

Who gets CP 360 will be based on who gets scheduled first, based on all the other constraints. The few at the end after they run out of CP 360 will be the ones without.

Doesn't address what happens with the excess percentage, though (and I don't expect Mr. Bartz, who is not a Ford exec, to relay more than historical information about that as related to any past parallel instances).

Is it a case of "Well, that configuration exceeded our expectations so rather than accommodate those orders they'll just languish in limbo?"

All this talk about dropping this dropping that on your builts.. SUCKS Because I can't no longer change my vehicle as of September, stuck on priority 02 and all this new/old constraints on my build, gives me no hope for a build date coming soon... I'm throwing in the white flag if I by the end of month no build date. HATE HATE HATE ford's way of doing business with their customers. Definitely my last vehicle from them. Any way GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL TOMORROW!!!
FYI, Tim Bartz said you are allowed to ask your dealer to switch your Priority back to 10 so that you can make some changes, if you want to.

2005 Chevy Silverado, sounds like it's giving up.

That will end up costing my spot if I do that.

I also ordered a Lariat lux hybrid with copilot. I asked my dealer to remove the hard roll tonneau (because of constraints), and he let me know that he couldn't do it. Hoping that I'm priority 2. Is that priority code specific to the region of the country? I'm in new England.
Fellow Vermonter here. Your dealer uses codes as low as 10. A Priority 2 can only be set by a regional manager. (It's supposed to mean you're near to being scheduled, but that doesn't always pan out. Some folks have been Priority 2 since September.) If you really want to change your order, you can ask your dealer to change your Priority to 10, so that you can make changes.

Maybe. It's a question of which helps most: your Priority 2 might mean you'll soon be scheduled (though some folks have been Priority 2 since September); removing a constrained item might mean you'll soon be scheduled. It's hard to know what to do sometimes. Ford could really be more forthcoming with some of this stuff, and have a better plan for scheduling. Good luck to you! 🍀

I dunno. My truck's modules populated on January 4th. Yet my delivery date just changed anyway from February 7th-13th to May 14th.

And if May 14th is the actual date, it will be exactly 11 months from when our order was confirmed.
