While it’s not “currently scheduled “for American markets they got one that could be ready quickly. 2 door or 4 could be coming to a dealership near you. As I said in another post, American automakers are not going to sit around and watch everyone waiting and searching and paying $3000 to $15,000 over sticker for a Maverick. We will see competition in the coming years. It’s always been like that throughout automotive history. We had little (compact) Rangers, s-10s, Toyotas, Dodges, and now they are making a return.

Neat. I need an easy backseat personally, but those who don't should be happy with it, if it ever comes.

Trucklets like this have been around Latin America and other developing markets for a long time. They usually have the same front end as whatever compact car it's based on. VW and FCA both have one too.

None of those vehicles will present any competition unless they are priced at $20k just like the Maverick. The Montana will probably start in the high 20s and the Tacoma EV will probably be close to 40k.

These are just renderings. Obvious that they took a picture of a Mav then slapped on the front end of a Blazer and the tail lights from a Silverado.
Yeah, you can see the whole side is a straight up Maverick. Look at the taillights. That's not an official new Montana at all. Just someone's wet dream!

That Montana is ugly. Santa Cruz looks better and that's not good looking. Now onto the toyota.....
