Delay email just went out Maryland

Supplies are short everywhere and that includes shortfalls of the people that produce them, ship them and deliver them. Hell I can't even jalapeño cheese dip! Times are tough !

In the past week, the local Costco Business Center has been out of Coke Zero, all brands and flavors of soy milk, white chocolate and all brands of apple juice.

Maybe those of us who have dealt with being unable to get things due to supply chain issues have a little more understanding about what Ford is dealing with. And because of that, we're able to deal with it without having a hissy fit.

Yes sir, we're racing for the finish line! I've been lucky enough to see 4 Mavericks here in Tucson and I was even more lucky to do a test drive in a XL. So I know Mavericks do actually exist and base on the ride it is worth waiting for them. It just the process how the wait has turned out that's been frustrating to say the least!

You'd think the Maverick was something that was essential to life itself by some of these threads. I want my Maverick, too. It'll get here when it gets here. Until then, my life continues on as normal.

Thankfully, my life's happiness isn't determined by whether my Maverick arrives in this decade. My only gripe has been the way the allocation system favors some dealerships over others, which in turn has allowed people who order first to end up waiting the longest and the overall lack of communication from Ford. Otherwise, the delays and supplies issues I can certainly understand.

In all likely hood, the birth of this Maverick is going to take longer than either of my two kids. At least with the kids I got to see mama grow and talk to them. This Maverick only exist in a dream.

Delays are not fun but are very expected right now. I’m the service manager at a motor sports dealer and we happen to sell Can-Am side by sides. We have about 30 of them in the back lot right now that are missing the engine control modules, led dash display, security encoded key, and some even missing more than that. Basically they sent us unfinished units and told us they would supply the rest of the parts when they’re able to produce them. We have customers making payments on a couple of these already without knowing when they can actually get them. There’s supply issues everywhere.

I'm not going to lie, I was very upset when I got the email saying my build was pushed back to the 28th from the 7th. But seeing that it's happening to just about everyone here, I'm just not surprised. Bummed, but I sold my car back in Aug and have been with 1 car this long. What's another month...

Looks like production is getting pushed back.
I had a 1/31 date that was changed on Monday to 2/7.
I just received another email changing it again to 2/14.
Twice in 2 Days!

Got the same 2 emails this week as well.... Mercifully I don't NEED the truck right this second, and I'm still confident in the payoff when it does finally arrive.
