The dealer still would have had to do the ROVP and submit your licensing info. If that part was not done then your order will just sit there and not be picked up. I'd be going to a dealership raising some HELL for answers. They have until 7 PM tonight to confirm your order with FORD. You'll have an order in the system, but it won't get picked up by Manufucturing to Build.
To be super clear on the dates, I believe the memo that went to the Dealers said that tonight (Thursday) is the deadline for them to enter customer orders into the first system....I am forgetting the name. WABS or WAGS or WO.....something. Then there is a date in early Feburary by which time they need to have completed the ROVP. So it is not as tight of a time crunch as it seems. If people are battling to get a copy of their ROVP, I think they have until early Februry to get that done.

EDIT: Found it. "WBDO (Web Based Dealership Ordering system)". Thats the deadline for tonight, NOT ROVP.

Is this a way of the dealer keeping your current order to have upon arrival and putting a MY23 order in when they open up for your replacement?

I read somewhere that ford will be trying to produce dealer inventory units throughout the MY22 just stopped taking customer orders.

Yeah, I think your dealership may be screwing with you. I placed an order just this week, on Tuesday. I received a confirmation email from Ford, and then today I confirmed with my dealer that the order had also been processed in the COVP (order verification system). You'll also see threads here talking about ROVP, but I'm guessing they are more or less the same thing.

However, being paranoid because I know I'm right up against the deadline, I did call Ford directly this morning and confirmed they have my order in the system AND that my dealer submitted it to the verification system. The woman I talked to said my verification was still "pending" but that does not surprise me as I am sure Ford received quite a few new orders for the Maverick this week and will probably take them a bit to process them all. However, as far as I can tell, I am on track to have a 2022 Maverick built for me, although I am sure it won't be any time soon.

Bottom line: if I can place an order THIS WEEK and still get a 2022 Maverick, why does your dealer want to push you to 2023 for a truck you ordered in October?

Called Ford marketing again and order is in system, but dealership had not done rovp. Ford rep said she can tell no rovp because can only look up order by Maverick order and dealership numbers.. information to dealership and waiting....

Call Ford marketing again, and great sales rep, she can find my order by Maverick order and dealer numbers, but cannot when using my email, personal information. This leads her to believe the dealership has to complete the ROVP......ugh..... Hence why they asked for my drivers license today (already gave back in October). I sent this thread and request for them to send ROVP to me today. Hopefully dealership will complete today. Very frustrating process by Ford....

Sounds like you may have saved your truck by being proactive though. All ROVPs must be submitted by Feb. 2.

My salesman said he had to call 5 Maverick orders today and deliver the news, but I am not giving up. the dealership just needs to put the ROVP in. I am hoping it is just a knowledge issue and not trying to take my MY22 order.....Thanks for everyone's help!

These situations/dealerships are giving FORD black-eyes.

Hope you have educated your dealership well, and they can get their act together. Simply stated they have delayed your vehicle, at worst...well...

No more orders can be placed after today, but the dealership has until February 2nd to complete the ROVP process.

Called dealership again and referenced this thread and explained the missing ROVP per Ford marketing. Salesman says sales manager is working on my order today...I hope.....I told him to email me copy today too.

IMO your order is good. Dealer is hoping you agree to MY 2023. That way they can gouge someone else when your ordered Maverick arrives.
Maybe the frenzy will be over in a year and 5K adm a thing of the past.

Oh yeah, the order is definitely good. Just needs to be verified in Ford system by Feb. 2. Up to the dealer to make that happen, and if they refuse, well, I'd never go to that dealer again and I'd make darn sure none of my friends or family did either.

How are we supposed to know if it was entered into ROVP? I got the order confirmation email from Ford, is there something else we are supposed to get?
