The drop-in actually does cover up the two 12 volt access panels! And it covers up the drain holes. :(

Has anyone taken one off to see if there are reference marks or such to follow when cutting out access to these two locations?

I ordered spray in and am glad I did. The drop in looks nice now but here in Texas the sun would wreck it. Also looks to have too many places for water to get underneath. I had a 2011 Ford F150, and I had the bed sprayed in and it still looked great when I sold the truck 1 month ago.

Is this a Base XL model? Im
Curious if the XLT or Lariat will have the wiring holes accessible as well as the outlet and light.

The drop-in looks fine and will protect the bed from impact, but I see a lot of comments from Texas and SoCal and Florida about how little rust you've had in previous trucks with drop-in liners. Those of us in NS and likely a large chunk of Canada and the US Northeast (and anywhere salt is used on the roads) are always jealous of the lack of rust you guys have on your entire vehicles. Unfortunately, you're situations are not representative of all conditions and I do expect rust to be an issue with a drop in liner. Hence, I ordered spray-in.

Noticed both things from the title in this video. Seems like the first real look at the hard drop in liner.

Not really my experience with drop-ins here on trucks in our fleet 10-20 years old. Unless you're fastidiously getting the undercarriage cleaned by the time it's got serious rust on the bed deck due to any saltwater getting beneath the liner it's usually just as compromised from the bottom especially the crossmembers.

Seriously my dealer doesn’t show this part available and online retailers don’t either…how are folks getting a dibl other than by taking delivery of their truck with it??

The Ford website builder shows two drop-in bedliner options. There's the "bedliner - hard drop-in" for $375 and a "drop-in bedliner" for $495. What's the difference between the two, and which one is being offered as part of the XLT luxury package? Someone said in a previous post that the drop-in bedliner blocks access to the power outlets that are also included in the luxury package, which makes no sense. Further, I am curious whether the drop-in liner will interfere with the LED bed lighting also included in the XLT lux pack.

By ordering it on 3rd party sites. Ordered one from FordPartsAmerica for example. Took a week for them to get it (they had to special order it) on a thursday, and I got it from them on monday. Still have to install it cause was too busy :|

I would dig this if you could just get the drop in for the sides and the rubber mat for the actual bed. But with the holes precut. I think they make those for other trucks.

I went to that site and called Ford parts America and got the run around, the part is on back order and it’s not in their system to even verbally confirm it’s for the Maverick…did you pick it up or have it shipped?

The drop in liner is not slippery until you put ArmorAll on it. Get in with Cowboy boots on you might as well just fall down.

On Monday Jan 24th I ordered one from Bill Utter Ford in Denton TX (20 miles North of Dallas). They said it was to be delivered to them by yesterday evening. I will be picking it up Friday.

The MSRP price is $415 ($404.31 after 10% discount + $30.81 sales tax).

I actually got it for free as I used 64,116 FordPass points and $83.73 of the $100 FordPass Visa reward credit.
