The big drips you mention might be bead lube fluid. Makes mounting tires easier, easy to clean off after installation.

Whoever paid that got robbed. BIG time,

I get 14" wheels powdercoated satin black in LA all the time for $40 each. If I bring them multiple sets....it drops to $35.

Surely larger rims are more.....but not THAT much more.

Hey I wanted to do exactly this and live near LA. Can u share the rim place? Looking to get a decent price somewhere. Don't have mavrick yet so it might be a while though.

The cheapest powdercoater in California is on the southeast corner of Gage & Compton in the lovely unincorporated area of South Central called Florence/Firestone. Just to the east of Walgreens on the south side Gage.

No name. And you have a better chance of winning a trip to the moon than having them answer the phone.

But they are SUPER CHEAP and the quality is pretty damn good......

Bronze looks good - getting Pepper red FX4 and those would look nice on that color.

I have a HPR Lariat ordered.... Wonder if those wheels would look good with a bronze powder coat.
