In early December, I called a bunch of Ford dealerships around New Orleans for any hybrids in stock. All of them were reserved, but I did find one Lariat hybrid in transit to Bayou Ford in Laplace that was available. They added $2000 in extras on top of MSRP, which included exterior and interior protection coatings and services. Whatever, I just needed a new vehicle and wanted to get this done.

They told me it had a scheduled delivery date on 1/17 but I got a surprise when it arrived on 1/6. So far, I'm really enjoying it. I went from a 2013 Subaru BRZ to this, and the quality of the ride and utility is just so much better. If you see a black hybrid Lariat around Nola, gimme a honk

I called about that truck too! They had a hot pepper red at the same time. I didn’t want to pay the extra 2k at the time. Congrats! I just had the luxury to wait a little longer.

Someone in Natchitoches purchased one from Hixson in Alexandria. I was there when they picked it up. Boy they were so excited. It made my heart feel full watching them.

I did get a call-back from someone at Mac Haik Ford Jackson, MS about an available Lariat they had on their lot, but they wanted $5k ADM pushing the stock Lariat into the $30k's. I said no thanks, never heard back. I'm sure it sold. That was the only call-back i've gotten about availability after putting out feelers at most of the local dealerships.

Looking on fords website it says banner ford just got a lariat in, they are in covington/mandeville. Supreme ford of slidell just got an fx4 lariat. If you want to see one you just got to be quick. Some others are listed as dealer ordered, so im guessing those havent even been built yet.

Im actually buying mine in Mobile. The dealers around me in New Orleans wanted to add the market adjustment and I told them to kick rocks.

Switched to br zip code (ford only lets you do 100 mile radius), there is one that just arrived at courtesy ford in new roads and one at hub city ford in laffy. So call them in the morning.

Was it an Area 51 XLT by chance? I got to see it in person a couple weeks ago, the guy that bought it was visiting my next door neighbor. I also ordered mine with Chuck at Hixson, really nice guy.

Got my Area 51 Hybrid XLT today! Got it from Mendoza Ford in Maurice outside of Laffy. Amazing experience got it MSRP and it was a stock order that I found on the Ford inventory finder. They also had an Area 51 Lariat someone was on their way to pick up. Hopefully I see some of you out there in Baton Rouge.

If I recall I think this one was Shadow Black and Hybrid. Yes, Chuck is the dude at Hixson. He has been so a nice guy to work with. He's good a keeping you informed if he gets any updated info.

Thanks! I had a deposit on it the day it showed up on the inventory tracker. I was on top of them to make sure I got it as soon as it showed up.

I checked 5 times a day if not more. The morning I found mine and got a deposit on it I checked and there was nothing I refreshed it and the truck popped up and I called immediately.

I'm still waiting on a build date. I am going to have to find something to drive in the mean time still can't believe I haven't been scheduled yet. Wish Ford would just take the bed liner off of all packages and let you do it yourself.
