2005 Chevy Silverado, sounds like it's giving up.
How do you get to be a priority 2? My Dealer keeps telling me the highest priority is a 10.
I was a priority 19 for a long time since August 7th and I beg them to change it to a 10. However they told me and Ford costumer service that its only change to a priority 2 /pre scheduling by the FORD.

I'm one of the lucky ones that got a build for the week 2/21 but I'm crossing my fingers on my current "ride", 93 Ford Escort wagon. I'm tired of the lift struts randomly letting the back hatch down on me but I don't want to put another dime into that car now. Ac still works if you can believe it.
Our vehicles are running on hope 🤣

Soooo... I'm really thinking about saying screw the truck and go get another I have a preorder in qnd was told December at the latest but I don't have a production date until the week of Feb 21st. It's not to the dealers fault. I mean the truck is cool but not that cool. It's just super hyped up right now because it's new. So I ask you all. Hold off or go look for a different brand truck??
We can't decide for you.

Ordered 6/14. XLT hybrid with lux package. No build date yet. Called my dealership and they didn’t give me any information that I didn’t already know.

We'll see. My order date was 10/24 for Lariat Lux Hybrid. After some chats with my dealer and reading the forum, even with the later the order date the way allocations work for trim + dealership could work in favor for me. We'll see :)
Maverick Hybrid Lariat Trim for me ordered 8/31. Crickets!

You have an opportunity very soon to have a truck that is one of the auto industry's most prized tickets. You've come this far...why in the world would you want to abandon your Maverick now? Perhaps you know something I don't, but after working in Ford Dealer Development for many years, my advice would be to keep wagging your tail in anticipation and let patience win out over what you'd view in the future as a bad decision. If you truly feel that it is "super hyped up right now because it's new," I believe you are mistaken. All vehicles are in extremely short supply due to many reasons and orders from all makes are taking forever, so you'll be moving from the frying pan to the fire. Let patience prevail! You'll be glad you did!

Ordered July 16th. Checked with my dealer a few days back. Suggested they move my priority to 10. They say every order at the dealership is assigned 19. Then they added the following: " Your priority code is currently at a 12. It looks like Ford has been going in and making those changes. Other Hybrid orders are at 19 so I’m hoping this means yours is making progress." Also said: "I was able to pull the report and the only commodity issue being provided is the Hybrid engine, which we’ve known is the main reason for the delay! Fingers crossed that after the Holidays when they start scheduling again, yours will get pulled!" Hoping this means I get lucky soon!
I ordered my Hybrid XLT July 14th and it has been scheduled to build February 21st.

First I want to say thank you for your reply. I understand the situation very well, I have a working vehicle at the moment and there are plenty of other vehicles to choose from. I refuse to believe I am only given one option to finding a vehicle. I know I can go up the street and get a Santa cruz tonight if I wanted to. I am waiting a little longer in hopes they move my build date up but if not, well I may choose a Santa cruz to be totally honest.

Well, I received an email that I never thought I would get last night. My scheduled production is now two weeks ahead of schedule. It was originally scheduled for the week of Feb. 7 and has been bumped up to the week of Jan. 24. This makes me gitty! I can't wait for my Maverick! I just saw one in my similar spec today at my dealership and now I really can't wait! The more I see it the more excited I get. I hope other people are getting this great news, especially ones who have been waiting longer than I have from June/July.
Congrats I know you are excited. I can't wait until I get some good news about mine but I know it's going to be awhile.
