Yeah. I’m leaning toward the XL. Planning on doing the Granger -$3000 MSRP deal.

Since that deal is a set $ amount off, it lends itself to go as low end as is reasonable.

3000/22000 = 13,6% off
3000/30000 = 10.0% off

i have a hybrid Lar + Lux + sun roof + copilot on order, but if I were going to do the Granger deal I would go XL + AWD + copilot + hitch + rear slider for $25700 - $3000 off. Maybe drop AWD if I lived in a southern state, or maybe add the 4K pkg instead of just the hitch ...and call it a day.

I plan to keep the Maverick for one year. Do you think (percentage wise) the XL or Lariat Lux would depreciate more?
Do you even have a Maverick?

You have threads asking:

Any strategies on buying a hybrid off dealer lots?

and

Are there any hybrids on dealer lots?

and

Are any of the Mavericks listed on Ford's inventory tracker not actually spoken for?

It appears that you will have to procure your Maverick from a Dealer and pay what will be probably $5000 to $10000 over MSRP. I don't see how you would come out ahead doing that and selling in a year.

The markups for Hybrids is at the high end. Even Long McArthur is doing $7500 over MSRP for Maverick Hybrids for stock or abandoned orders.

Of course I don't have a maverick. That is the reason for all of my pre-purchase threads; the threads you have taken the time to look-up.

So Funny - the Maverick 10 to 12K over sticker is short lived. There are many all electrics coming out announced by Stellantis and GM as well as Ford will more than likely have an all electric Maverick in a few years plus the Lighting will be a big seller. GM's new EV Equinox is supposed to retail at around 30K and be available fall of 23. https://www.chevrolet.com/electric/future-evs
RIght now Maverick has no competition but it is coming
Not saying Maverick isnt an awesome vehicle just saying there will soon be more choices in the near future in an affordable price point like the Mav.

Demand and supply.
After one year I don't think there will be Mavericks sitting on dealer lots.(even if chip shortage is better).
To the question, I think XLT is a good medium for you to enjoy for a year and sells quickly
