When should I start to panic? Ordered Hybrid in June

I ordered my XLT Hybrid on June 14. Pretty basic, only added trailer hitch, floor liners, full size spare, and 400w inverter. Was just delivered to my dealer today. 6 1/2 months. Hang in there!!

June 24th, XLT hybrid with spray-in and tow-hitch in same position as OP. It is getting pretty freaking annoying. Dealer say I could drop spray-in, but their not sure it will make a difference.

Thanks for the encouragement. I saw my first Mav in person today and got extra excited. It was a gas 4x4 but same color as my hybrid order. My current car is the GTI in the photo and was impressed how the Mav is not a lot bigger than the VW hatchback. The GTI is even freshly detailed as I thought I was trading it in this week lol

Been using the trackers for the truck from Ford every day since this summer. My modules just got turned on today!

Hey ‘trucksters’ I ordered my Maverick XLT Lariat Hybrid, lux package, slide back window, moonroof, etc. back at the end of June. At what time should I storm the ‘Bastille’ and demand an order date or at least a ‘reach around’ from Ford to find out when it will be built, or better, when it will ship?

Sorry, man this should not be happening to you. I am sure others who had constraints got built before yours.

A dealer, including Tim at LM, should be honest about everything that affects your place in line and disclose that your build depends greatly on a big variable called allocations. Someone who ordered in Oct can jump ahead of someone else who ordered back in August. But your case is extreme back to June.

Custom builds should be based on date of order and only be held up by constraints, no matter which dealer it comes from.

The allocation system is Ford's attempt to be fair to dealers, but it is very unfair to the people buying the vehicles if others are able to cut the line in front of them.

It definitely sucks being such an early reserve yet seeing others get their trucks after only waiting 1/2 or even less the time. It'll probably be a full 8 months from order->delivered for me and whenever I see someone else get their similar build way ahead of me it's really irritating. The few comforting thoughts I have are "well, if there are issues (and there have been), they will sort em out before mine is built" and this also gives more time to get a larger down payment.
Neither of those things may be a concern for you, but looking for a silver lining here!

My dealer knows about as much as I do (nada!). I did call this number yesterday & about the best they could do was to confirm there is a truck order in my name. He mentioned he could forward me to the "Maverick Team". I asked if they could provide any more info than he, the response was, "No". Hurry up & wait (((

That's starting to sound very much like a dealer allocation issue. And there's nothing anybody can do with that. It's a crappy system.

I did see one this morning at the store, stopped by to check it out (very nice)! Talked to the owner (he ordered from same dealership as I), ordered a Hybrid XLT back in mid June and took delivery mid December. He did say he had no additional options other than the XLT package.

I ordered a hybrid on 7/12 with the lux package as well.. I called ford today and was told the spray in bed liner is the hold up but that it should be scheduled in the next 2 or 3 weeks. Of course I called a month ago was told something similar.

Same here, ordered 7/26 Hybrid, Rapid Red, Lux Pkg, 360 CoPilot, 1st Edition - I've been at Priority Code 2 since November 26th - Still waiting!!!

My dealer has no clue, I also ordered in June , Lariet First Edition no word from anyone. called Ford , say order in system..tells me to call my dealer lol
