When should I start to panic? Ordered Hybrid in June

I ordered in June. I called my dealer to get my VIN a few weeks back as I never received an email. My hybrid lariat first edition luxury just moved to the build stage and I have a window sticker.

The only thing limited not on my order is splash guards and mine is moving finally.

I have close to the same build. No cover, moonroof, and CGM. I ordered 7/13 and have a build week of 2/14. I’m guessing I got pulled first either due to the cover or allocations.

Yep. I think if OP had dropped the tonneau cover earlier, he/she would have been scheduled before the both of us.

I'd drop the tonneau cover. If you do that, then your Lariat Hybrid Luxury has a 6% chance of getting previewed and selected for scheduling.

I'm no statistician but the way I see it, out of 100 vehicles scheduled, 40 will be hybrids. Of those 40 hybrids, 6 will include the Lariat Luxury package. So 6 out of 100 gives you 6% odds. I suggest finding a goat to sacrifice.

Now the one thing you can feel good about is that they should be prioritizing the early hybrid orders. I think your number will be called in the next couple of weeks once scheduling resumes.

Hey ‘trucksters’ I ordered my Maverick XLT Lariat Hybrid, lux package, slide back window, moonroof, etc. back at the end of June. At what time should I storm the ‘Bastille’ and demand an order date or at least a ‘reach around’ from Ford to find out when it will be built, or better, when it will ship?

I ordered a hybrid on 7/12 with the lux package as well.. I called ford today and was told the spray in bed liner is the hold up but that it should be scheduled in the next 2 or 3 weeks. Of course I called a month ago was told something similar.

I'm on PETA and the local SPCA's most wanted lists for the furry crimes I've committed, but darn it, it was worth it to finally get scheduled.

Both the Lux package (bedliner) and the tonneau cover are issues.

Too much option overload from the factory should have just waited and got all that after the fact

well, I had to refer back to my order to make sure. It says; 2.5L Hybrid , Cyber Orange, Lariat Lux Pkg. ,Co-Pilot 360, Moonroof, Soft roll tonneau cover, I think that’s about it. Anything alien about that?

I ordered the same (sans tonneau) but much later (October). I’m thinking my truck will be summer at best based on your story.

I spoke to Ford yesterday and they said the spray in bed liner is causing delays. The bed liner is part of the Lux package . We are waiting too!!

Hang in there, I ordered Hybrid XLT 6/21, Heard from my dealer today, My build date is Monday 1/3. My dealer should have it by the end of Jsnuary.

Don't panic yet, there are thousands of hybrids that were ordered in june/July that haven't been scheduled ....Tim at LongMac has 80 of them, my dealer has 70 unscheduled hybrids, I guessing most will get March build dates.

Thanks for the phone number. I just added it to my address book, just in case I need it. I won't start to worry until March. My order date was October 9th. So I still have to wait my turn, which looks like it will be around March or even April. But at least I now have a phone number to call if I need to. Thanks again for the number.

June 14 Hybrid order. Lariat, lux and copilot package with bed rug, liner and soft folding bed cover. I had a delivery date of 12-27-21 and my dealer promised me it would be here then. That date came and went, online it says its built but waiting for chips. Not sure when mine will get here, will probably just see my delivery date keep sliding. Pretty bummed.
