Assuming it fits EB models? Wish I had driven a stock Maverick with a load, but I have not seen many rides that were not improved by a sway bar. Again, never driven a stock Maverick or Escapé

This is exciting! I’ve been waiting for something like this and I assumed it would be a while still.
hard to believe it will fit an escape and a maverick though. A lot of geometry had to be exact
We have been taking a significant look at the vehicle & will be doing even more testing shortly ..

Awesome! Any word on lowering springs, say -2/-3 kit? Some springs paired with a stiffer rear bar would make for a nice street/performance ride.

Very happy to hear this. Already have the STEEDA STB on the MAV.

I sent a message to Steeda asking if the sway bar was only for the eco. They replied that if a hybrid owner, close to their Valdosta GA location, was interested that owner could contact them via [email protected]

it could be helpful to specify on the product page if it fits the awd setup, fwd setup, or both. The fwd (eco and hybrid) have completely different rear suspension from the awd. Looking forward to whatever else you guys come out with 👍

So I just ordered a rear sway bar a few weeks ago. And now it has shipped. Question I now have is will it fit my fwd xlt. When I look at the installation photos of the escape it is showing a rear sway bar for the all wheel drive setup. Has anyone else ordered one yet. When I called Steeda the gentleman I spoke with didn't know.

So it took a few weeks just to ship and Steeda doesn't even know what their own product will fit? Sounds like you're off to a rocky start on something that should be relatively simple..

In terms of fitment, the AWD has a multi-link rear, the FWD does not. Thus I would assume it will not be compatible with your FWD. If you find a way to make it work, definitely report back as I'm sure others are interested in the same info.

Just finished installing the Steeda rear sway bar. I'm running it on the stiffest setting and the steering response feels much more direct. The truck feels much tighter when taking on/off ramps with significantly less body roll. Give yourself plenty of time if you plan on doing this because the stock sway bar is very difficult to maneuver out. It's also a good idea to invest in a set large torx bits if you don't already have some because Ford loves to use T50 bolts.
