Scale Suspension Coilovers for sale in Northern California. I'm located by sac and willing to meet within a reasonable distance. Not looking to ship at this time.
The suspension has about 5000 miles on it. There's a bit of damage to one of the rear spring isolators but it works fine.

As an update on this, after doing some messing with the coilovers with my dad we found that despite the big red warning sticker the suspension came from scale with basically zero preload. This means I've been driving around outside of the suspension stroke and on top of the springs which is why...
are the silvers noticeably better? I've just got standard drop scales with standard springs. I honestly can't really tell if it's front or rear, it just kind of feels like the whole truck bouncing together lol. It's not super dramatic but it's noticeable enough
after a couple weeks with the setup and the ride quality is pretty bad. My wife hates it lol. We currently drive our slammed miata because it rides better. I feel like it's oversprung, I've never had a set of coilovers be so bouncy. Any suggestions on how to adjust them to ride better? I've...
yup, 18x8.5 +30 and 245/55r18 tires. I was worried I was going to want 20's which is what most people seem to be doing but I appreciate a little bit of sidewall
Got my scales in the mail yesterday and installed them in my driveway today. I'm curious to see how they settle but I'm pretty happy with the result so far
if it makes you feel any better, I ordered my coilovers with a "1-3 week lead time" 5 weeks ago and still no ETA. I think it's just slow moving for everybody right now.
Wow that's all a bummer to hear, thanks for the info though. Maybe i'll give scale 2 more weeks and if they haven't shipped by then go through the same process with them and try to order the updated silvers. Hopefully we have more coilover options soon, I'm amazed there isn't a BC offering yet...
Did you ever get these in? I ordered my scales 5 weeks ago now and they still haven't shipped, I'm considering canceling the order and getting silvers instead assuming they're somewhat comparable but I haven't heard any reports on quality or lead time on them. My only experience with silvers was...
I did some moto towing this weekend, averaged 28.5 mpg on the trip. With cruise control set at 60mph I was seeing ~30mph on the freeway, and at 65 it was down to about 22, and at 70 down to about 19. It's crazy how much mpg you can pick up just going a little bit slower
This is helpful! I just ordered my coilovers and would have just thrown them in trusting the preload, I'll make sure to double check them when they arrive.
I'm just hoping the build quality of the coilovers is nicer than their website 😅
With the tailgate down, would any of you mind measuring the height from the ground to the tailgate? Trying to figure out how much easier this would make loading my motorcycle into the back
