If you tint the front windows, brighter reverse lights are gonna be a necessity! Ask me how I know…

I was just thinking to get the leather one and have it installed at the dealership to not loose the warranty. The steering wheel itself costs around 500 bucks but I am sure you can negotiate the price and might cost another 2-300 to have it installed.

For my wife's old Civic, custom-steering-wheels.com charged me $100.00 for the installation and I paid $50 for the leather wrap

Great choices. Thanks for sharing. For your seat covers, what is your company of choice? Coverking has the Neosupreme for $450 front/rear

For me SiriusXM is a must, but I don't want to pay so many extra dollars to get it on a luxury package option on a Lariat. There are so many features on the Lariat with the luxury package that I would not use. So, I ordered the XL and will finish my SiriusXM Commander Touch installation on Tuesday after antenna adapters arrive.

We don't drive a lot so the cruise is not a must, but I do miss it certain times.

Yup going with the Neoprenes for the fronts and a Pet Cover for the rears as I've had them in my Jeep, my Crosstrek and my RAM.....really do a nice job if you have a dog or kids..I paid $129 for the fronts from a Ford accessories on line store...

SImply plug the Flash drive in the USB port behind the seat and songs display on the screen.
Have to use the front USB, rear ones are power only.

You could just buy leather aftermarket steering wheel covers that you can install yourself in 30-45 minutes for 50 dollars or less. That was what I did with my subaru forester after watching Yout tube install.

Just curious. Why not just use the Sirrius on your phone via Android Auto or Carplay?

Thanks for the question, you have a great point.

In past posts, I gave the reason, and it's simply that I do not have a smart phone.

Before retirement I used an iPhone because I traveled extensively and it gave me great communication with my home office, clients, bosses, and employees. After retirement and since I live in the deep piney woods of East Texas rural area on a lake that doesn't have good cell service. On a good day I might get a 1 bar signal if I walk down by the dock on the lake. So I use a flip phone which receives better than my wife's iPhone. The only way my wife can use her iPhone at home is through our satellite internet provider over our home Wifi. In the surrounding area the cell service is governed by a local provider that doesn't play well with others. That's one reason we still use a land line at home.

Don't get me wrong, if our cell service was stable in this East Texas rural area, I would be using an iPhone, and obviously, Ford counted on this being the case in deciding what features to include on the XL and XLT Radios.

Again, thanks for giving us a great point.
