I received an email form Ford letting me know that my Maverick has been built and shipped and A vin number has been issued. Every now and than I check Koons Ford website in Virginia the dealership I ordered from to see if they have any in stock so I can go by a look at the truck before mine arrives. I have only got to see one Maverick in person when they had one at the dealership for training last October. On the dealership website was a Maverick just like I ordered and sure enough when I verified the vin number it was the same as the vin Ford issued to me. I called the dealership and was told it was not my vehicle until I actually go in and purchase it and they keep all vehicle ordered by the dealership or an individual on there website for tracking purposes and was told that this is requirement from Ford. Ok I get it I, technically have not purchased the vehicle. But this still seems a little sketchy to me. And yes if anybody is wondering my vehicle on the website had a price of 5k more than what I have an agreement for. Has anybody else seen this?

Yes on many of the dealers websites the vehicles auto-populate. I wouldn't worry about it.

Mine is also. The fine print shows it as a "special order sold unit".

The fact that it is listed at the price of the build gives me confidence that the dealership isn't going to play games with the price.

As Craig said, a lot of members have reported this including me. Mine is advertised with a $3000 price adjustment. Each vehicle has a red banner in the corner saying "Deposit". When I asked my salesman, he said it is automatically done. He also told me that the price I originally agreed to is the price I will pay. Hope this helps your anxiety attack ;)

I've seen that on my dealer's site. Usually they include not available or something similar in the description.

After reading these posts, I decided to check my dealer's website. Sure enough, my vehicle is listed- AND with a $5000 ADM. Like someone else mentioned, the Window Sticker shows "Special Order" at the bottom. I looked up the window sticker for a Maverick sitting on another dealer's lot, and it did not show the "Special Order" text.

Seeing that others have seen the same thing is reassuring....mostly.

I would call or pay an in person visit if you can to address your concerns.

Look for a post that matches your question. If you can't find one or if the ones posted don't answer your question than ask.

Let me tell you it is worth the wait ;) . Now if this snow will just melt so I can drive it.🤣 We really need the snow but we've already gotten almost 80% of a whole years worth! Interstate 80 isn't even open, thank goodness my truck came before this storm.
