After a couple of months and 3000 miles, I found that the vast majority of people I meet have never heard of the Maverick.
With a new/old grill emblem, I did make it possible for somebody seeing the truck from the front, to know it is a Maverick.
We just picked up our XLT- order with the optional 110V 400w inverter. That was the only interior option. We also order the AWD Ecoboost, and the 4K trailer package.
It matches your picture on the right with the pair of USB ports and the inverter.
Yes. Back in early July, the process started with a reservation through the Ford site. Part of that process including identifying the dealer where the order would be placed. Prior to the reservation, I had called a few Ford dealerships in the area. Most knew less about the Maverick than I...
It is $5,000 Additional Dealer Markup over the MSRP. From what I have seen that is about average what dealers are asking for a Maverick that is for sale in their lot.

I clicked the link, and it really does pay 7.12%- with the low-risk of a government bond. It beats the 0.10% on my bank's Money Market Fund. There is no end to the things you learn on this forum.
With our last new car purchase, we rejected the extended warranty since the price was outrageous. The salesman pointed out that you don't buy these so for drivetrain issues so much as you do for the myriad of electronics and computers on modern vehicles. He shared horror stories on the cost of...
The Vehicle: 2005 – It was the highly anticipated new retro-design Mustang. Ford couldn’t keep up with demand.
Now- The new Maverick truck.
Ordering: 2005 – The only option was through a dealer. I went with a local dealer I had used before.
Now – Reservation made through the Ford.com site...
On 9/16 I received a Scheduled For Production email, with a build week also of 11/1. Since then, no communications- nothing showing it was getting built, and nothing showing it was rescheduled. The Ford support line couldn't tell me anything. They did say that Ford has not always been sending...
