"All these" pastels? I'm thinking back through every color since the Maverick was introduced and I'm struggling to remember another pastel offering. Which colors, specifically, were you thinking of?
Cactus Grey kinda fits the pastel mold

I have said this many of times, The Maverick interior is just like that of a '79 Fairmont (cheaply made), my girlfriends mom had one, what a POS.
In my experience, the Fairmont was actually a pretty good car as far as reliability (in its day) . The engines were mainly the bulletproof 2.3 4 cylinder and the also bulletproof 3.3 inline 6 cylinder. The vehicle itself wasn't anything special. But it reliably got you from point A to point B. That was more than could be said for a lot of other vehicles of that era😅

My late wife and I took a Ford Tempo for a test drive. A short distance from the dealer it died. I walked back to the dealership and told them it was on the side of the road. The owner drove me back and a mechanic followed in a tow truck. The mechanic said as he was hooking it up that he was getting tired of towing Tempos back to the lot.
My wife and I rode back with the owner and he asked if we were ready to buy it. I nearly wet my pants laughing and my wife said "F*** NO!"

New Chrysler Cirrus same…. Pulled over and walked back. Salesman asked if I wanted try another one.
..and the better story. New Dodge shadow. Started it up and smoke came into the compartment. Not “mist”, but something up front is on fire type smoke. The salesman said it’s normal and will “burn off”.

Everything looks good with the BAP. I am probably in the minority but I personally fhink the light blue is sharp.

My first post. I don't even have things set up yet. I got some good chuckles reading the thread. I just got my light blue Lariat Hybrid. I stared at it a long time. I kinda would have liked a green and seriously considered black but I simply know I wouldn't be bothered in keeping the black clean and I didn't want to hear the wife complaining about how dirty it was.

So I stared and I am of the age where I saw a few thing. The dealership has a large Gulf GT40 poster in their waiting room which reminded me of this color but that would be just a little over the top for me to do the orange to it.

I did picture the white side insert and I see others saw that also.........so that's what I'm going to do. Yeah maybe a bit cheesy retro but old Ford Trucks always looked good like that IMO.

It should be easy to find in a parking lot. Any small scratches should be fairly easy to touch up and I hope it is a one year color.

A gay friend of mine sells these window decals. They are blue with a mountain black ground and say "No hate in my holler". I'll have to get one off him to trigger the easily triggered.

Uhh ... what did you change?
I'm guessing window tint. That was my first mod as well, back in the day...

Edit: I missed the before/after... "fender flair in the form of fender flares."

LOL.....

And the tint came from the dealer. He had tinted all his Mavericks which IMO was stupid as many may not want it: I like it fine.

I think it looks great on your truck. And it is not off-the-rails dark.

The previous owner of my truck had tinted it completely illegally dark, and I hated it. Hated paying extra to have it removed when it was retinted even more.
