In earl years the "Bean counters' used to track vehicle problems and build a better part until they found out that the vehicle lasted too long and sales of NEW dropped off . SO design and software people got in the development to make it less costly and reduce quality and focus on "NEW features . The Maverick IS an example of all those factors gone a step too far with "sleep mode' CV-joint , fluid leaks and Dealers that can't get the 'bugs' out or replace the flimsy parts with an upgraded better part replacement . So vehicles are just like Cell phones change it out for latest model , color and function just to show off that YOU have the latest Model . Yes I own a maverick Hybrid and I still have my 1940 Ford Standard Coupe that I have owned since 1962 -and I can work on it if needed .Ford's Dynamic Driving Simulator Compresses Months of Vehicle Testing Into a Single Day
It is cool that this was used on the Maverick.
