I was looking at Maverick Skid plate options and I could only find 3 companies making them. Am I missing any options out there in 2024?
Here is what I found.

RIVAL
JCR
HRG

All making some overlapping and some unique products. Also some have said new or revised versions of there products are on the way.

RIVAL makes aluminum skid plates and has looks like it will have options for all types of Mavericks (2.0T, Hybrid, Tremor, 2wd, AWD, FX4). They also can cover nearly all of the underside of the truck. But some are still in development and listed as not in stock yet on the web site.

JCR makes steel skid plates with options for some types of Mavericks and can cover nearly all of the underside of the truck.

HRG makes a steel skid plate that covers the area in front of where all the other skid plates end. But only for the FX4 and AWD. No one else makes a skid for this area.

Am I missing any other brands making skid plates?
As of right now I can find no one making bumpers for the Maverick. A rear bumper should fit all versions of the Maverik but the front would need to be trim and option specific.

Here is a list of areas for skid plates to cover.

Engine/transmission skid; RIVAL, JCR
Catalytic converter skid; RIVAL, JCR
Side under-body skids; RIVAL, JCR
Gas tank skid; JCR
rock Sliders JCR
Front lip nose skid; HRG

All three make skid plates for other vehicle brands and models, and are updating and improving their products.
Are there other options out there?

Here are some photos of the skid plates

yeah that's about it.

HGR makes 3 Ford nose guards
BS base
BSBL
2.0 Mav

I don't see a lot of difference between the Badlands and the Tremor nose so maybe a HGR Tremor piece is in the works.
HGR does make a Mav under body skid plate but think it's only for the EVAP side at this point.

Thanks for putting this together; I did not know the HRG plate existed.

That said, that front lip looks like a huge, vulnerable cantilever. I know most of the time it's going to get hit from underneath and will at least save the plastic, but seeing that leading edge flapping out there would worry me about it getting caught on something. ...Or acting as a gravel scoop.

That was my thought as well @Carlitos_92. My FX4 has some mild rock damage on that plastic piece, and thought I might consider the HGR if (when) the damage got worse. At this point I'd probably be better off skipping it and putting a leveling kit on to help avoid the rocks. And before anyone feels the desire to point it out, yes, I'm aware that would put extra stress on the front CVs.

Your right the HRG Offroad, Bronco Sport Badlands, skid plate is very close to what a Maverick Tremor could use. I wonder if it could work or could easily be made to work. I hope HRG is working on this.

I could not find an HRG EVAP skid plate for the Maverick just one for the bronco sport. I does cover the same area as the Maverick EVAP would be in but with the different vehicle length I don't think it would work.

Sport, right you are. About the overall length, with the passenger compartments being roughly the same most of the extra length is after the rear wheels. 🤷‍♂️

They all look so fantastic and I would love to have them on my 24 Eco XLT. But, I can’t crawl underneath and do stuff like I used to (oil, filter, etc.) And when I take it to a dealer to get that stuff done, they’ll slowly disappear! 🙄

I need to order one asap. My felt one is messed up even after rino lining it. Wish they had an add on scoop to cool the ptu. I may have one added similar to factory so it doesn’t take away clearance just allows air to flow over it

June 4, 2026 I just looked at rival4x4 website and they only have two skid plates for the Maverick and one is just a replacement for the one that's there already on the Tremor and the other one is for a catalytic converter and it's on backorder. What do you guys recommend?

This is sad, it looks like there are less options today then there was 2 years ago.

I have yet to find an option for an aftermarket rear bumper.

Yes I think you're right. Disappointing. Beltech used my Tremor for a test of their one and a half inch lift, it's currently on my truck and it works great. They are building a 3 inch lift which requires a brand new coil over shock which are being built in Spain, and hopefully they'll be here in a month. And will install them on my current truck as a test. The one half inch is currently on their website available. 👍🇺🇸🏁

I wonder how much a 3-in lift will add to the angle of the axles and what kind of additional wear it'll put on them?
Below is a picture of my stock 2023 Maverick XLT hybrid on a level surface you can see there's somewhat of a angle.

A 3" lift would be great. With the shared parts with the bronco sport you would think we would have more options.
Let me know if you see anyone selling a metal rear bumper.
