Only 3,500 miles…I bought it at x-planOn your maverick Ecoboost. Cause 27,500 is a pretty good value. Also how much did you buy it for? I am curious on its retention of value.
Besides visiting the gas station less.Only 3,500 miles…I bought it at x-plan
I know why get rid of it….
I always have been intrigued with a hybrid vehicle. I drive mostly short city type …hardly any long distance at all. Even though I don’t drive much, I just wanted to have a hybrid and see how it is. Most on here seem to love them. Maybe I made the wrong/right decision but we will see. Just sorta concerned about the 12v battery draining since I don’t do long drives
Yeah I totally feel that concern. As I faced the problem myself. I just finally committed and bought an ohmmu sodium battery. I have a whole thread on that if you're interested. But now my problem with the 12v battery is solved so I'm content.Only 3,500 miles…I bought it at x-plan

Well my 2022 Maverick did not come with an AGM battery. Ford let me deal with their problem on my own LOL.That’s interesting…the amg battery doesn’t help
Well my eco is AWD…so I’ll be back to fwd…see how it performs the snow next winterBesides visiting the gas station less.
What changes are you anticipating, going from an EcoBoost to Hybrid?
I have a 2023 hybrid with the original Ford flooded battery, I have 26,200 miles, so I don't drive it a whole lot. I have only had to put it on the charger twice before I pulled fuse 11/12.
Save yourself all the future headaches and just invest in the ohmmu sodium battery. Really well with extreme temperatures being a sodium battery. And has giving me zero problems as I was someone who previously faced all the issues with deep sleep. I even had it once that I parked at the gas station ran inside came back out and my truck was in limp mode. https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/maverick-12v-batteries-stock→agm→sodium.80255/Well my eco is AWD…so I’ll be back to fwd…see how it performs the snow next winter
My drive mainly in the city (small town) so I think I’ll be ok in snow…might even get regular snow tires then
Will have to get use to driving more economical…but I have been try with my eco
Just concerned about the “ deep sleep “ if I ever get it because my typical driving day is about 4 short outings with no more than : miles at a time
So I will have to keep the 12v battery charged up
I think when winter comes you'll really miss the all-wheel drive.Well my eco is AWD…so I’ll be back to fwd…see how it performs the snow next winter

I have driven in the snow with my front wheel drive hybrid. If you put it on slippery mode or if you can just control not slamming the pedal you will be fine!I think when winter comes you'll really miss the all-wheel drive.
It's too bad you couldn't have gotten Hybrid as an all-wheel drive.
I could have… I just thought a new 25 XLT hybrid at $27,900 plus regular doc fees etcI think when winter comes you'll really miss the all-wheel drive.

Don't stress it! I have not seen a single complaint about fwd in snow. You obviously can't just make your own path off-road in the snow front wheel drive. But in a town slow speeds conscious of the snow you'll be perfectly fine.I could have… I just thought a new 25 XLT hybrid at $27,900 plus regular doc fees etc
Was really good
I have read of course tires make a difference as well I know the continentals suck in the snow. Others have said the fwd seems to go ok in snow with upgraded tires
I think so too. I’ve had numerous fwd cars before. I had one time with the eco with battery saver Just hope I don’t run into battery issues with the hybridDon't stress it!
