The new Light Blue 2026 Maverick color is out!

So this is actually a camera/ color theory thing! Light Blue often reads as white (but under cool lighting) when shown with limited context. It's not really a problem in person, because your eyes adjust for the shared lighting. Basically, your brain is always auto-white balancing.

Amusing, related story: in the original printed comic, Omni-Man's suit was light blue and only became white on the show because of a similar confusion.

if I didn't know what I was looking at color wise, I'd say it was a white Maverick.

I understand why, but it appears to be a very LIGHT blue, like white with a faint blue tint..
Maybe it looks a bit different without a camera, but in any case, not a reason 4Me to buy one.

I'm not familiar with Omni-Man - Was he the crime fighter who drove the Dodge Omni ?

Just poking around on CarGurus and came across the new color simply called Light Blue. That's according to Ford's online configurator. It reminds me of Robin's Egg Blue on the Bronco and Bronco Sport Heritage Editions. I'm not sure if I like it or not. It seems a bit loud like Orange Fury. Also, it doesn't really fit the character of the Maverick. What do you think? Anyone have one of these on order?

Plenty of web sites that tell you why people choose certain color cars. But while searching, there was also a site defining the color of your poop so……

I remember Galaxies that color in the 60s. In my high school (250 students total) 2 guys had matching Galaxies that color and they both were named Randy the guys not the Galaxies.
