Like the title states .... Just last month (roughly speaking) the destination & delivery fees were fixed at $1695. Well if you order a new Maverick today OR purchase one of them that recently has been ordered through the dealership, you'll notice the NEW fee is $1845. As I "window shop" for my new Maverick, this was not a welcomed change.

Also, for those familiar with the ordering process, when is the cutoff date for placing an order (if I choose to go that route) for model year 2026 before you'd be stuck with ordering a 2027? Thanks ................. Tim

Back in June last year I offered the dealer “MSRP + tax”. They accepted and let them figure out how to divvy up that $39K.

I felt smart at that time because all the other charges for prep & dealer installed options was about $3,000. Later in the year the price for a Lobo dropped by about $5000+. Oh well, it felt smart at the time:)

Bitchin don’t help one bit.
Everything goes up, always has.
$150 is what percentage of $44,000, the cost of a Maverick ?
.0034%

That’s how it’s done, small increments.
All you can do is piss and moan.
Ford knows not one single person will choose not to buy a Maverick over a $150 increase.

The Maverick is fast approaching $50,000
I may never buy another one because if this.
But Ford will do fine because plenty will pay it.

I think this one is on increased oil prices rather than on Ford.

It costs $1845 to ship a Mav to Laredo, Texas. It costs $1845 to ship a Mav to Newburgh, New York. Hmmmmmmm. Ford continues to charge every customer the cost of shipping a vehicle to the farthest point. Apathetic customers get what they deserve. This apathetic customer shrugs his shoulders as he gets fleeced (I buy in Southern Indiana and Northern Kentucky). I've been doing it for 60 years. Except when I buy used - no shipping charge, just a documentation fee that is much cheaper. Ford, or any other car manufacturer, is NOT my friend.

I wonder what it would cost for me to keep my 2024 Eco AWD lariat and be buried in it.

Two cemetery plots,
Big ass hole,
Massive concrete tomb,

At would be friggen awesome doncha know !
