Does anyone have recommendations for a 2-e bike rack (combined bike weights of approx. 115 lbs) for a 2025 Ford Maverick with only 200 lb tongue weight ?

The hitch is the same between the 2K and 4K packages (except for the wiring connector), so you've got some wiggle room. You may need to add some AirLift bags to the rear springs if you get excessive sag.

I'm a fan of the 1Up options. They're expensive and heavy, though, so you'd be very close to the tongue weight.

Wouldn't that depend on how fat your tyres are?
Obviously not the real fat ones or he'd fill them with helium and let them float behind on a length of paracord or something.

My e-Bikes have 20” x 3” tires with fenders so the 1UP option doesn’t work I originally planned to use the 1UP option and mount them above my retractable bed cover on my BillieBars 🤷🏼‍♂️

You can put 400 lbs on any factory installed hitch.
That’s great to know so I shouldn’t have any concern with my 210 pound set up including my two e-Bikes and rack’s combined weight of 210 lbs 👍

How can I verify this ? It's not that I don't trust you, but the manufacturer recommends 10% of the towing weight (2000 lbs), which is 200 lbs.

But you're not towing, you're using it for a bike rack.

Look at the Saris Super Clamp as it holds 55 Lb bikes and only weighs 45 Lbs. I use an older version for my 45 Lb. E-Bike.

The 10% (minimum not maximum) is for safe trailer pull. To minimize trailer sway. Experts agree 15% is better, if it does not overload your truck or hitch design.

Your Maverick has a class 3 hitch receiver. (Plus it is the same on trucks with 4,000 pound tow rating.)

"A Class 3 receiver hitch is a versatile, 2-inch square hitch commonly used on SUVs, crossovers, and light-duty trucks for towing up to 8,000 lbs (often 3,500–6,000 lbs standard) and managing 350–800 lbs of tongue weight
Ideal for utility trailers, boat trailers, and campers, it also supports hitch-mounted cargo carriers and bike racks."

Here you go.

See Page 40 of Ford’s publication 2024 FORD RV and Trailer Towing Guide.
Probably same for prior MYs. I have no TW sticker on my hitch receiver but below info is applicable.

Remember 2,000-4,000 lb. trailers can swing side to side in the wind. Trailers do bounce. Now, if somebody thinks, that you're hitch is going to go through the same stress with a couple of e-bikes on a carrier........🤣🤣

A bike rack with 220 pounds on the hitch receiver is much more stressful than a trailer with a tongue weigh of 220 pounds. I use at tie down strap to hold the rack toward the truck tailgate to prevent the bikes from applying a torsion back stress. The hitch is design for in out and weight down force. The side to side swaying of the bikes will put a twist stress on the hitch receiver that it was not design for.
