A few weeks ago I found a full cargo management system for sale including the rails and crossbars for cheap. After making a few measurements, it seemed as though my existing bike rack would work with the bars, but after installing them, it was clear another solution would be needed.
I used a fork mount on the front rail and found an awning bracket on Amazon which gives me the extra few inches I needed in both length and height to be able to easily mount the bike. Not ideal, but cheap and easy! I just need to go to the store and find one more bolt to support the center of the bracket and it will be good to go.
