Hey guys I'm new to the forum and am expecting my Maverick by the end of the summer, I ordered an XL and have a vin# and build date. I'm not keeping it stock and have already picked up a set of Bronco sport black outer banks wheels at a great price. I'm going to do AT tires, and I can't find much info on the biggest tire size you can run on 18'' wheels as most people have the 17s. I plan on doing a 1-inch leveling kit but that might not happen right away. SO, my question is, does anyone know what the biggest tire size the Maverick can handle without a lift on 18'' wheels? Thanks in advance.

Hello, and congrats on getting your build date.

A member here (NoVaJimmy) put 235/65 R18s on outer banks wheels and says he has no issues with rubbing.

He also hyperdipped the wheels in anthracite and I think they look great. Someone else here, I can't remember who it was, posted an amazon link to vinyl decals that cover the polished face of the OB wheels, making them appear solid black. Also a really nice look.

265/60/18 fit without rubbing at stock height too. The pic below is another member's truck on here.

Hey, just wanted to double check that at full lock they wouldn't rub?

That would depend on the offset, but this one is not my truck.

For the sake of handling I like the tread edge of my tire to be exactly over/inline with my rim bead.
My stock wheel bead/edge on my 2024 Eco AWD Lariat are directly lined up with my
225/60R 18
Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3’s tread edge.

If I was to go larger I’d do 225/65R 18
But that and wider add weight and I don’t drive hard enough to justify wider. If I did I’d get wider rims.
