Are Canadians going to stop vacationing in Florida?

What does this have to do with questions about Maverick trucks? I've noticed lately members are posting things that should be on different forums, not the Maverick Truck Forum.

This is in the Off-topic section. However, wouldn’t an EB AWD Maverick be perfect for a hockey player and all his gear? BTW…It’s called MTC ADD and it affects nearly 50% of all MTC members.

You seem to have an issue understanding this section of the forum. It’s called "off topic" defined as a place for topics not related to Mavericks. It's a place where people can discuss other topics if they chose to do so, perhaps, ponder life, the olympics and not just Mavericks.

My question to you sir is why are you participating in this section if you are against it. Scroll on by and focus on the content that interests you. Don't beat up on people who use this section as it was originally intended. It's really that simple the other Frank.

I notice we have a lot of Canadians on this forum. I live in Florida and have been hearing that Canadians are sorta boycotting vactions in Fl. Just wondring if this is the case. Please no politics as its not allowed on the forum.

My wife and I have 2 friends that we were in college with many years ago and they live in the Keys. they have 3 Air B&Bs and for the past 7 years customers from Canada have rented those units for the winter and they renew the day they leave to go back to Canada. All 3 customers called and canceled their reservations back in mid September. So that may be an indication.

Living in Florida, you do see some comments about this. I tend to think a lot is BS. For example, I have an annual pass to Disney World. It's been nuts there for several months. Yeah, people come from all over the county, but there's still some amount of foreign tourists. How many? No idea, but I tend to think it's not having that big of an impact.

My freinds lost their ABB in the Keys at the last moment and they had a heck of a finding a different place and ended up in a dump. I live in Delray beach, Florida and I would say 85% of the Canadians came back this year. Thats a big drop. Also cruise ships that normally dock in Miami for a couple of days which originate ffom other countries are skipping the port altogether this year at the request of their customers. I don't like the feel of that at all.

• National figures indicate Canadians made fewer trips to the U.S. as a whole, with statistics showing ongoing monthly declines in Canadian visitors crossing into the U.S. by car and air, partly reflecting lower demand.

Based on what I have read tourism is up especially in your area due to the current enviorment here.

same goes for south texas . Not a lot of north of the boarder people came for the winter. It must be climate change because it does not get as cold up there
