Did they keep the original heated function?

Yes. Heated seats work great.

That seems a little high. When I spoke with the rep at Katzkin I was given one price if I chose colors that matched what was originally in the car and a higher price if I wanted to customize.

I chose the matching color, but I suspect the installer's cost varies significantly, depending on location. The nearest one to me is 90 miles away and not in a high population area, so I need to shop around before taking the plunge.

Wow, very nice. I was actually thinking about using Katzkin to redo my FJ Cruiser seats. I was curious about the quality and it looks like they might be a good choice.

I am just north of you in Cookeville and the drive down to Chattanooga could be worth it.

Very pleased with Katzkin and the installer at Autocraft here in Chattanooga, TN The leather is really nice quality. Thick but very supple. Worth every penny to me.

Almost have the wife talked into in, especially in summer. The swamp crack is a real struggle with the active-x seats. My previous car’s real leather breathed so much better even without cooling.

$1,500.00-$2,000.00 mine cost around $1,300.00. But that was a few years ago.

The total cost to me in June of ‘24 was $1000. And that included shipping of the materials from California and installation at a shop here in Michigan. The dealership also provided a vehicle for me to use during the three days that the seats were installed.

my wife got me IKABEVEM covers off Amazon because of the dog. First one i tried to put on the zipper broke. But everyone else's are very nice.

Show pics when you get em installed. The seat covers you can get today are unbelievable. I've seen some that look really nice.
