My Maverick is a 2025 hybrid lariat. I got a similar notice. This is my second Maverick. I had a 2022 hybrid lariat. You'll get used to the recalls. Most are minor... ;-]

This must be for hybrids only...I have an 25 EcoBoost Lariat and just checked Ford's website...no recall for brake issue for me.

I got the recall notice today too from Carfax. Looks like it's only for Maverick Hybrids and sounds like they can make the fix via an OTA software update:

Unfortunately it says remedy not available yet and I think it said recall letters get mailed out Feb 2nd so hopefully the remedy arrives soon though

Only a very happy customer will “get used to the recalls”. There is a marketing pitch in there somewhere - seriously!

I took mine in for the PADI recall this weekend. The service manager said it's an "up to 9 hour job, because they have to do a manual software update". So sounds like it can't be an OTA thing.

How is it 9 hours to update software, even manually (not over the air)? The dealer running on dial-up internet? I have an apt Thursday morning to fix this.

I must’ve rolled my eyes pretty hard, because he came back with “we have to sit with the truck and turn modules on and off while it happens, and it might not take the first try, blah blah..”

Did you get yours fixed? 9 hours is laughable. I'm waiting at the dealership for them to fix mine, better not take 9 hours. Where did you see it was a hardware fix?
