2025 wheel weight and wheel and tire weight (factory)

Was doing some research today and until someone weighs the actual wheels this is my best guess. The ford escape 19 inch black aluminum wheels weigh 37 pounds, so figure the maverick black out package ones are pretty close. The tires for the maverick are Goodyear Wrangker HT 225/55R19 and weigh 26 pounds. So total weight wheel and tire is 63 pounds.

That [37!] seems a bit high. Can't believe no one has weighed a Mav 19" wheel/tire setup yet.

17" Bronco Sport Big Bend wheels are 21.2 LB and I believe the lightest OEM and cheapest option for a Mav upgrade. (upgrade your ride quality from 19s!)
17" Steelies are dirt cheap and easy to find for winter setup though.


Also, there are also plenty of XL rated snow tires. If you aren't towing in the winter, though, I don't see why you'd seek them out.

durability. as you go up from SL, you get more sidewall plies. generally this doesn't matter on road, but if you find yourself in any dirt road or actual off-road terrain, tougher tires can help you avoid a puncture or cut.

My 2025 Lobo's option 6/12 spoke wheel (and 2025 BAP wheel?) and tire combo was ~55 1/2 lbs. Assuming the weight of the OEM tire is accurate on tire rack at 26 lbs, then the wheel is around 29-30 lbs. I was highly skeptical of the previous mention of 37 lbs since OEM wheels are generally not heavy.

My OEM Turbofan setup weighed 56.5lbs - a bit heavier than your optional setup. I weighed them a while back & posted my results
