Considering selling my square drop for a larger camper. Found one I like that is 2,950# empty, which should be good. And they have a slightly larger model at 3,600# which would be only a couple hundred from max before adding water. What's the max your 4K Hybrid has towed comfortably?

I'm an experienced RVer having hauled a 36ft 5th wheel for better than 6 years. My Maverick has a 4000 lbs capacity. The max weight of a camper I would consider is around 3000 lbs. I would feel comfortable with leaving 1M for water, propane tank, clothing food etc. Keep the weight 15% lower than max.

Yeah, my general rule is 3/4 of max rating empty, and travel light. Just curious who has towed what with the 4K Hybrid.

It was a total of roughly 21 feet long. Weighs about 2500 pounds. It was NOT fun to pull. I pulled out about three hours.

That's very light for the size. And it gave you trouble?

Speculation on my part, but with the frontal area of a trailer that size it could be an issue if it’s windy, or when attempting to travel at speeds over 60MPH. Most travel trailers come with tires rated for 60-65MPH, so that’s a limiting factor anyway.

Boy that looks BIG. Only 2500. What model and brand is that?

Looks like a Gulfstream Vista Cruiser 19 footer ... I've got basically the same thing and it tows fine with our hybrid IMO ... but I use WDH and a Curt sway control bar. I wonder what the issue was?

Maybe it's down to expectations?

Pulling a boxy trailer, I would use my Flated topper to help direct the air which should help a decent amount.

It works well for me. I needed larger sleeping area and locker room.

Thanks, that is helpful. This setup might work well for us on weekenders.
