Towed a car with my Hybrid

I had an event that would have taken my car 1 1/2 hours of driving to get to OR 1 hour if I towed the car. I opted to use my Maverick as the tow vehicle and towed the car both ways. The pickup had plenty of power and I saw speeds up to 75 at times on the freeway. the milage did not take a big hit although I did not record it. My car weighs 1800 pounds and the Maverick cn handle up to 2000#. Here in AZ I do not need aux brakes on a car under 2000 pounds and the hills were just suggestions not challenges.

Looks like Nash Metropolitan. They weigh 1800-1900 lbs.

OMG the Metropolitan brings back growing up memories… my seatbelt was my mom’s arm .!!!

You guys are sharp. Its a 61 Metropolitan convertible. I don't like taking over 55 MPH for more than a very short sprint so towing was the best. The pickup in the background became a dining room for a &%#n rabbit that ate a wiring loom taking out the A/C, power windows, tail gate lock, radio and more.
