A Mopar engine block, some Peterbilt parts and a Christmas tree.

what is the V8 going into?
It's a former dirt track motor from a late model stock car.... 340 from a '73 Dodge Challenger.

I bought it to build to use in my '65 Dodge Coronet but other more important stuff has come up so I sold it and delivered it to it's new owner in Michigan.

It won't haul what my F350 will!
the point being? when you get 70 yrs old you might want to scale down a bit as well, glad to hear you haul something besides a folding chair and yeti cooler in the back of your "landark" bet you cant reach over the side and retrieve anything standing on the ground.

my days of loading a cord of wood on the old 63 are over( 8' bed and 4 ft racks, she would hold a cord(double acting overloads) your point being? at my age the little Maverick hauls all I care to drag out the woods and load, have burnt more wood this fall because 17 yr old heat pump died in the heat wave, cant afford to fix it.

maybe I should have posted a photo of my old smallish cat truck( 25 tons empty)would haul a load that would have buckled the semi but it was sluggish didn't have favorable power to weight and that thing would beat you to death if the "cushion ride" wasn't charged, never got a chance to drive a "big "terex" or the biggest direct drive "cat" there's trucks and there are trucks. you couldn't pay me enough to drive a semi on the road, due to the level of competence among the public( "truck protocol" should be required for an "operators license" before a driving license is issued after all we share the road( a good case for dedicated truck routes)
