Regarding the "so called rear seat flopping", I watched a youtube video on how to lower the spare tire and it showed the back portion of the rear seat locked in place. You pull a tab to release the back to get to the jack.

I've got plenty of shake from my hood. 40-60 mph is starts to lift smoothly. Above 60 mph and it's not smooth anymore. I've got the hood air deflector on my truck, so I wonder if that accentuates the matter. Reading from the 2nd post, that was part of the issue with the F-150.

Accumulating the issues before making the trip to the dealer for some warranty repairs. This and the back seat flop are the most annoying issues at this point. The hood shake could eventually become expensive and even dangerous, so it take precedence.

Video of Maverick Hood Above 60mph (sorry it's not cleaner - holding the phone with one hand)
Might not happen if didn't drive so Fast

Potential Mav buyer and never a FORD owner…..I have to ask…..how in the world does this ever happen period? Next, how do I get excited about this type of product after something like this? #buzzkill

I'm not going to like that rear seat issue!
The rear seat is simply not latched. It does sometimes take a solid push, but once latched wont do this.

This is a case of people not even trying what is literally the simplest possible solution to a non problem. We are likely doomed as a species.

The hood sheetmetal probably does not care... the hinges and paint on the other hand probably do!
This is why I love the OP TSB solution to enlarge the bulb seal, instead of moving the hood closer to fenders and risk damaging any paint. Pretty clever quick solution from Ford, I assume they will be a new seal coming soon for later builds.

Something like this will probably be the fix. Given that Ford is likely trying to cut weight and cost by using aluminum, gluing on a stiffening plate or rod is an easy and low cost solution.
On the small chance I have this issue when I get my truck, I will do the TSB myself to enlarge the bulb seal first. Then if this does not work, I like your idea to glue something on the underside of hood to increase stiffness (assuming the adhesive can resist underhood temp without burning).

If it makes you feel any better, I have absolutely no issues with mine so far, it has only been a couple of weeks but she's solid!
