While researching other midsize trucks telling dealerships my maximum out the door is $35,000 what can you do for a mid size.
Tacoma had xtra cab could.2wd
Ranger 4dr could.2wd
(Both 2wd slightly higher insurance than maverick awd)
Chevy dealerships said we can get you into a Silverado for that.
But i dont want that big of a vehicle.
Since the design of a maverick Can & Does handle full size loads.
Yeah its.....fullsize *capable.

*fullsize capable

is an interesting way to put it.

But, truth be told, so far my 2022 Maverick has done everything my 7200 lb. 10 MPG 2004 Silverado 2500 HD did.

**well almost.

ONE TIME I had three, half-ton supersacks of gravel in my 2500's bed. Maverick I'd put only one. And technically, 3,000 lbs of gravel in the bed of the 2500 was over the rating so.... šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

THIS is a full size pickup... the Maverick falls well short of full size.

? IF it doesnt fit in one regular size parking stall, would that then qualify for oversized ?

Simply vehicles have been classified by size demensions.
So to that, no, maverick is not full size.

My built suzuki samarai kicked azz over my wrangler rubicon and astonished other jeep owners.
But not in every catagory.
On the freeway the wrangler was better. šŸ˜‰šŸ‘

An oversize vehicle is more than 108" wide...any vehicle more the 96" wide requires roof clearance lights and rear and sidemarker lights like those found on duallys.

Any cargo longer than 4' off the rear would need an oversize permit.

My dually is not oversized... just the right size for many jobs.

'for many jobs'
But not all and thats the point.

To Your demensions spec/size
Yeah thats for transporting.
But not the same as a parking spot size requirement!
Just sayin' good luck with a parking structure and majority of garage's with that honker dually 😁

I for one am glad theres options!

Don’t get me wrong, I like my little truck, it can do a lot for what it is, but I’m guessing you’ve never owned a full size 4 door late model truck, there’s a big difference in size and capabilities

Who are you guessing on 😁

Yeah big difference.
In many catagories!
But again thats the point āœ”

Not deffending anything here...just that it does seem on one hand pretty silly to discuss the difference between the Maverick and full size vehicles. Simply, There's a reason each exist.
One is not better than the other unless the other doesn't work for the intended purpose.
