Define “marker lights,” lol
I just wanted them to make it look like the F-150 front end, but I personally don’t care about having actual fog lights there
Fog lights have an actual beam dispersion pattern and are aimed and benefit you as the driver. There are also laws in some states regarding allowable use cases and you can be fined for using them improperly.
Marker lights are there to increase visibility of the dimensions of your vehicle in adverse/low light conditions for other drivers... or simply for aesthetics. There are few legal limits regarding marker lights, and usually only targetted at commercial vehicles.

Well I know what fog lights are, lol. But as for marker lights, I would’ve called those DRL’s, but makes sense.
For me, I just wanted the aesthetic marker lights portion but a ton of people want a real fog light mount like the last gen Diode Dynamics kit, so I’m going to be making something similar for the people.

I have some headlight modding experience and I’ve dreamt of doing this even when I was considering buying a 2024 before the 2025 was revealed. I was finally able to make it happen, along with the F-150 style fog LED’s that I designed from scratch and fully 3D printed.
It took a lot of electrical trickery to make the new amber LED’s function as turn signals and also turn on when you unlock the truck, just like OEM, but I was fortunately able to make it happen with minor caveats.
I know a lot of people are going to want to get this done and I’m trying to prepare myself to be able to do builds like this for people and it can be done with a full addressable RGBW system as well!
The fog LED’s also are something I’ll be making more of and can be white to match the OEM headlights, or also integrated with the RGBW system.
I also know most people want real fog light mounts for the 2025+ and Diode Dynamics said they won’t be making them, so I’m working on making fog light mounts also!
I want to give them some time on my truck to stress and durability test before I start building more, but stay tuned and I’ll share updates when I’m ready or need a willing participant to test parts!
And if someone wants to connect me with a person or company that can help me mass produce the parts I’ve designed so they can be more affordable and faster to make, that would be the great also

Do you have an FX4? Could definitely do something but I guess my intent here was to mimic the way the F-150 looks and carry that headlight DRL down, because it felt like the 25 lariat was really missing that parity.
