If yellow/amber was illegal in California as a running light, every new KIA vehicle and Ford Raptor truck would be banned… it’s not illegal anywhere in this country.

The LED strips I used for the modifications are primarily white with a switchback turn signal function, but amber was my personal primary goal.
Stand corrected....checked. you're correct.

I have some headlight modding experience and I’ve dreamt of doing this even when I was considering buying a 2024 before the 2025 was revealed. I was finally able to make it happen, along with the F-150 style fog LED’s that I designed from scratch and fully 3D printed.

It took a lot of electrical trickery to make the new amber LED’s function as turn signals and also turn on when you unlock the truck, just like OEM, but I was fortunately able to make it happen with minor caveats.

I know a lot of people are going to want to get this done and I’m trying to prepare myself to be able to do builds like this for people and it can be done with a full addressable RGBW system as well!

The fog LED’s also are something I’ll be making more of and can be white to match the OEM headlights, or also integrated with the RGBW system.

I also know most people want real fog light mounts for the 2025+ and Diode Dynamics said they won’t be making them, so I’m working on making fog light mounts also!

I want to give them some time on my truck to stress and durability test before I start building more, but stay tuned and I’ll share updates when I’m ready or need a willing participant to test parts!

Damn that's so cool! I hope at some point you can do something for early model (2022) peps! The Shadow Unicorn could use some wicked looking "eyes" like that!

You can kind of make the reflective buckets glow, but it’s not as effective as if you were to use an aftermarket 22-24 headlight that has the 3 projector lenses in it. You could put much better demon eyes in those

I'm at point now that whatever I do has to be a plug-n-play setup. :ROFLMAO:

By “you” I meant, it’s possible 🤣 but what I mean is with headlights like these or the yet to be released form lighting ones, I could add demon eyes to make these lenses glow. Without the projector lenses which the stock headlight doesn’t have, the effect doesn’t really work well.

Oh I get you. Well I'm really more interested in the amber turn signal/drl setup like you have. Having "eyes" would just a bonus.

That can certainly be arranged much easier!

What’s the update on doing a build guide or remanufacturing these?

Dude, this is probably the best mod I've seen. Fantastic job! I just picked up my '25 last week coming from a '22. Definitely would like to know your future plans for this. My truck is Space White, so I'm not sure the Amber would look as good as on yours, but definitely white. Did you use Lariat headlamps? I have an XLT, I assume these would not work?

Looks great! I see the "fog lights" as marker lights instead though, which I think is better ultimately.
